She wanted to turn her head away, but the moment his lips met hers, she had no more will to do so. She was drowning in him, unable to breathe for the sweetness of the honeyed trap. He deepened the kiss and her mouth opened against her mental shout to herself to refuse him. As her mind whirled away in confusion, she felt his teeth against her tongue, actually growing longer and sharper. He raised his head to gaze down at her and she saw the black eyes were now also lit from within by a red light, like the pictures one got from a flash that caught the persons retina in that creepy red-eye blunder of photography.

Her breath caught in her throat then, and she could not scream, she could do nothing but wait, wanting nothing more in that instant than for him to take what he anted from her.

He did.
