Synopsis: Goddess of Denver
Honestly, I was torn between "Fantasy" and "Religious, Spiritual and New Age" as a genre because it really would fit in either. How about "Spiritual Fantasy" or "Historical Pagan Fantasy?" And aren't they all mysteries? I mean, you wouldn't keep reading if you weren't curious about how it turns out, right? I'll post more about this little novel later, for now, it is very young and a little tired and needs to go to bed....
Excerpt: Goddess of Denver
In Denver, on the winter Solstice morning, you might choose to be among those crazy, spiritual, inspired or intrepid souls who make their way in the achingly cold darkness, in their cars, or SUVs, or beat up Veggie oil burning VW vans, up winding roadways at the far west end of the metro area, well beyond the comforting jewels of lighted civilization and into the bones of the ancient earth, onto the ancient place adapted to modern usage but on this morning turned once again to the purposes of All-Time to the rhythms older than the place itself.
