Excerpt: An Order From The Future
“Where the heck is my suit!” I asked as I brushed my hair and put on deodorant both at once. Michelle walked into the room. “Its in the bathroom hanging on the door.” She put her hands on her hips and looked at her man. “And you put your deodorant on your head again.” I had looked at myself in the mirror moments before and had wondered why my hair had turned shiny. “And whats the bet that you brushed your armpit hair with your comb?” she asked him. I lifted my arms and looked at my armpits. I had inadvertently given my pit hair a handlebar mustache, on both of them. I turned and looked at Michelle. “Sometimes these buggers can be quite troublesome.” I said holding up my lower set of arms. Michelle laughed. “Your telling me!” The other night while we were in bed and you were asleep your lower left hand pinched me.” I looked sheepishly at her. “Sorry. Sometimes I am quite sure they have a mind if there own.” Michelle nodded. “I think they are attached to your subconscious. They do what you really want to do while you are doing what you have to do.” All the while that We had been talking I had put on my suit and had fixed the mess I had just done to my hair. As I walked by her I kissed Michelle Goodbye and headed for the door. “Jason Connor unless you you want to deliver your speech in your bare feet then you might want to come back and put your shoes on.”
