Synopsis: Maiden, Vampire, Crone
My 2009 NaNo novel is the third in a series about Wiccan priestess Bliss Harper and her family and their coven. In this one, Bliss's mother's ghost is having an affair with a retired vampire. Bliss is willing to accept this as one of her late mother's quirks, until the local wanna-be vampire cult gets the idea that Bliss' daughter Linnie's Witch-blood might make a tasty snack.

In retrospect, I can feel some pity for Duane and his posse. When you think about things you don’t want, you might think of root canals, or bankruptcies, or getting stopped by the cops on the way to work Monday morning. You don’t think about pissing off a vampire. But if you did think about pissing off a vampire, you’d realize that it would be at the top of your list, by a long way.
