Synopsis: Stars and Cracks

A prince starts to have doubts following the kidnapping rescue of his princess. In his world, an almost steampunk sort of world where fairy tales meet more modern culture and technologies, he is questioning his place in the Anarchist Court. With encouragement from the displaced princess, he senses that something is wrong with the queen he serves under, that he might possibly be serving as a pawn in her plays for power.

Further investigation reveals to the prince a series of conspiracies throughout the handful of governments ruling, or in his case unruling, the world. It is a tangle of deception that appears to be leading to a worldwide collapse -just what his queen is aiming for- and one in which he is indeed a pawn. Except, he has only glimpsed the extent of the corruption; though he does not realize it, his involvement has become much more important than he can concieve.

But before he can take too much of a stand against his own way of life, the one he has been raised to follow, he is thrust into an entirely different world: ours. Accompanying him is the princess. She takes it into her hands to get them back to where they belong, however, as they navigate the foreign universe, the misguided prince is finding that life on this side may have been where he truly belongs. As he further strays, meanwhile, back in their native world, political tensions are on the rise and their absence from their thrones are having a greater impact than either of them might have ever imagined.
