Brief Author Bio:

I grew up in Surrey, went to university in Uxbridge, Middlesex ("a stone's throw from central London"), and moved to Basildon to train as a teacher. Here I got stuck.

I am currently a supply teacher, teaching in various primary schools in south Essex. Next September I am going back to university to train as a midwife.
I love being a student!

Synopsis: Chosen (working title)

Prophecies collide in a tale of tragedy, discovery, love and magic.

Excerpt: Chosen (working title)

As the sun rose the Circle began their dance. Sweeping in and out of one another in carefully practised arcs, leaps and bounds. They weaved the story of the beginning of the world and of the creation of light. The gentle Chant of Sunrise became louder as their whispers increased in volume and the light intensified. As the sun crept higher their movements began to blur, with after echoes following each dancer. As one all twelve dancers stopped with their faces to the sun, their eyes closed. In the silence the after echoes faded and the sound of waking birds replaced the chanting.
Jarae broke the silence, lifting his arms to the sun and finishing the morning prayer. “Praise be to Torane.”
“Blessed be,” the others chorused.
