Synopsis: Waking Beauty

On the eve of Princesse's 16th year, she meets Prince, to whom she has been betrothed, and develops a tiny crush on him. Later that eve, he meets another in the woods, a dashing young lad, and the two fall deeply in love. Then, the old curse befalls our Princess, and she is sent into a deep sleep from which only her true love may awaken her. But the Prince has no romantic interest in his female friend, though e is rather worried about her, he refuses to kiss her, and he refuses his father's order to wed her, angrily explaining his involvement to the young man of his dreams. The evil queen of another kingdom kidnaps the prince, wrongly thinking that he is in love with the princess, and will do anything to reach her, to wake her from her sleep. When she discovers his romance with the young boy, she casts a curse on him as well, locking him in an enchanted chamber as deep beneath the ground as the princesses' tower is above it.

Meanwhile, ever lad in the kingdom has been called forth to kiss the sleeping princess in order to wake her from her slumber. A girl, the same age as the princess cuts her hair and dresses herself as a man, and goes to kiss the princess, for she has loved the princess for a very long time. And the princess awakens to the girl's kiss, startled herself by the gender of her true love, she immediately sees the girl's beauty and is troubled by her conscious reaction versus her emotional one.
