Brief Author Bio:

My name is Karissa, and I've thought about a pen name, but can't really decide on one. I thought my name was horrible (full name, not just first) until someone important said it was beautiful. ^^

I've been writing ever since I learned how when I was about 4 years old (I'm 17) and I wrote a full-length novella manuscript when I was 13 or so. I participated in NaNo in 2008 but didn't finish because of some life events that came up that took my concentration.

I attempted to do NaNo while working on my mandatory eleventh grade research paper, too, so it was very interesting!!! Haha. But I did get a good grade on my paper. [:

My favorite quote right now is from a Fall Out Boy song. It says "I am an arms dealer fitting you with weapons in the form of words." I love it because it rings true for me. If I can equip people with words to help them out, to inspire them, to get them through something, then that is my greatest accomplisment!!! :)

Oh, and, ah, while we're on the topic of Fall Out Boy. I am NOT a teeny fan who is only obsessed with Pete Wentz. In fact, my favorite member is Joe Trohman. I would do anything for that man. Anything at all. ^^ (I'm only halfway kidding.)

Mikey Way is MINE. You can try to argue that he is yours, but in the end, I will. Always. Win. ;D

Oh. And I love my cat. He is my best friend, no joke. His name is Kozmo but I call him Charlie with a British accent. We both revel in our hatred of my dog.
