Brief Author Bio:

I've been writing since I was nine and just finished the first draft of my first full-length novel in September. My writing credits are few, mainly college literary journals and I've placed third in the Rosalie Fleming Memorial Humor Prize for 2007. I have a Bachelor's of English with a minor in creative writing and I'm training to become an underwriter to pay the bills. I have some very . . . eccentric interests and hobbies that I'll keep to myself. I don't want people to think I'm weird or anything! At least not before they know me a little bit first.

As for writing, I learned through some rather disgruntled trials and errors that my stories must be written long hand first before being typed into the computer. That's definitely a bit daunting since I only type in monthly. I'm going to have to figure something out for NaNo because if I have to pump out 55,000 words in a month and type them all in in one go, I might go insane . . . or have my hands fuse into claws. I'm currently looking into digital pens. Fun!

PS--As pathetic as the word count looks here, I have much more on my end than I do on this one. Really, I do write more than 2,000 words a week. I swear.
