Synopsis: Summer & Sophia

"Summer is seventeen years old, about to graduate from high school, and has no clue what to do next. She used to have everything she needed--a best friend who played inventive pranks; a job that didn't cause her brain to melt; and an almost boyfriend who loves animals just as much as she does. Now, everything is changing, and Summer's life seems to be dissolving all around her. Her friends are leaving. Her parents are suddenly obsessed with colleges. Even her cat, Sophia, is acting strange. With her life spinning out of control, Summer knows she has to get a grip--or lose everything."

^ So that's my lame attempt at....I don't even know what to call it. Jacket copy? A hook? The thing that's supposed to make you want to read the novel? *shrug* I hope it sounds at least mildly interesting! I'm not even sure this is what I'll actually end up writing in November. It's my first attempt at contemporary realism, and I'm honestly not sure I'm capable of writing a story that doesn't somehow involve vampires or spaceships. ;)
