Synopsis:
In ~2040, Captain Jack has returned to Torchwood. Recruited into his team are Katie, a doctor too promiscuous for the normal health system, and Nick, a proficient hacker/slacker who is hiding some deep pain.
While diffusing a alien hostage situation at a local restaurant, two young girls do not react well to the retcon. When they wake up at Torchwood HQ, they remember little more than their names, Emma and Elise. Emma does not even recognise that Elise is her twin sister. As Torchwood tries to figure out what is different about these girls' physiology, Jack finds something oddly familiar about Emma. And all the while, Emma finds herself in far too many near-death experiences, even for Torchwood.
