Synopsis: Compelled

A woman is compelled by the leader of a coven to steal a sacred statue from a bespelled island of the southern coast of North Carolina:

Kelly, A buyer for a beach city antique store on her way to an island estate sale, is psychically compelled to find a statue that can break a curse placed on a small coven. She is found out, imprisoned, and tortured, although she does not initially realize what she has done. The warlock who compelled her is able to help her escape from a distance using animal helpers, but she is angry by then and after sending the statue to a friend, runs away. He tracks her down but must convince her to forgive him and return the statue.
