Synopsis: working title: Musical Hearts

Girl in early 20's meets much older man, a farmer with a roadside fruit
stand. She is enchanted when he serenades her, and discovers that when
he was a young man, he had been a fairly successful vocalist, even
traveled through Europe singing. She thinks it's sad that he doesn't
sing professionally anymore, and vows to re-start his career. Against
his better judgment, he goes along with the plan for a while.
Eventually he discovers that he is happier being retired, and she begins
to realize that her perspective on things is only one way to look at the
world. (I may also have her fall in love with him a bit, or at least
develop a big crush on him. And I think she's white and he's black, and
they're 40+ years apart in age.)
