Synopsis: The Opposite of Hallelujah (tent.)
Caro's older sister, Hannah, has been gone for eight years, locked away in a monastery as a cloistered Sister of Grace. She's been gone so long that Caro hardly knows her, and when Hannah returns home, broken and disillusioned with God, it seems to Caro that their fractured relationship is beyond salvaging. Hannah's reasons for leaving the monastery are veiled in secrecy, and the mystery only grows when Caro finds her sister's childhood diary, which alludes to a long-ago disaster Caro believes might have caused her sister to retreat from the world.
