Synopsis: Cedarwood
When a bus carrying six inmates from an asylum crash in the woods; can they pull together to survive?
Excerpt: Cedarwood
Chapter One
A more crumbling edifice could not be found. Some buildings seem to decay over time but still manage to retain a shadow of their former selves but the Cedarwood institute looked as though it had been designed to be a wreck from day one.
Slamming the van door behind him the Mexican crunched up the drive towards the institute.
‘Bring out your dead’ he hollered.
Pushing open the heavy oak door he waited for the next bunch of patients to be brought out for the days drive to their new residence. A new, shiny hospital built at the other end of the state.
A crackling radio pumped out some bad music as a hulking figure of a man ambled down the corridor.
