Synopsis: Genreation Game, The Sequel.
It started off as a joke: characters jumping from genre to genre at the author's whim. Then the novel ended and the two characters came into the real world and had a kid. Now their daughter is stuck in a non-fiction novel about house work. What could go wrong? Pretty much everything.

"Um, captain you're forgetting something though," Tayna said.
"Oh?" Liz asked.
"Yes," Tayna stated.
"Well what is it then?" Liz asked irritably. "This had better not be another cheap word count trick," she added, glaring at the author. "We had quite enough of that in the genreation game. I tell you, we're professional characters here, we don't need to be treated like this!" There was a shame filled silence, and then the novel started up again. But properly this time. No more breaking the fourth wall, I promise.
"I think the Author has had too much caffeine again," Tayna said wisely. That's the last time, really! the Author said. Then shut up and drank her caffeine.
"So, what was it I was forgetting?" Liz asked.
"Oh that," said Tayna, twiddling her hair. "The captain of the walker. We kinda left him in his bridge, with his crew and the threat of smoking them out. We should probably go see how that went."
"Oh, yeah." Rimstone was quiet for a bit. "Yeah, possibly a good idea. You know," Captain Elizabeth Rimstone said as they walked off down the passage. "I really do think our Author has had way too much caffeine. I mean what's her tally now? Three bottle of Dr Pepper, 7 cans of Red Devil, goodness knows how much cups of tea and coffee. If this turns into another surrealist farce again, I'm quitting."
"Oh, but love," Tayna said. "You know she can't help it. And besides you can't quit, otherwise she would have no leading character. That's no way to write a novel and you know it. Besides," she added coyly, puppy dog eyes at the ready, "I'd miss you." Liz Rimstone eyed her partner in life, love and crime. Then she gave a little laugh and threw and arm around Tayna's shoulder.
"Ah love, I wouldn't quit, and ya know it. I'm having far to much fun, even if our writer is a bit off her trolley."
And so they walked off down the corridor.
