Brief Author Bio: I live with my spouse and hope someday the state of NY will allow me to marry her. I have lived in many different states, my favorites were GA and KY, although Buffalo NY is growing on me. I have no children yet, but who knows what next year will bring. I have never been published, but that may change in the next few weeks. I am working on a prehistoric novel and many poems and flash fiction stories. |

Synopsis:
On the second day of NaNoWriMo I changed ideas. I realized I hate reading time travel books, so why the heck am I going to write one??
Anyway, I am writing about two clans who have a conflict about 10,000 years ago. I won't go into more detail because I might jinx myself.
Excerpt:
Lukan felt himself getting angry. Why can no one understand him? “These people murdered the Riku, Heather,” he yelled, “What do we do? Just sit here and wait for more? Or do we protect ourselves?”
“Your brother said only one man killed your father,” Heather put the bowl to the side and looked at her future mate while he lay back on the mat. “One person killed your father, not a clan.”
“Shhh,” Lukan said, “no more words.” And his voice threatened to break with sadness. He covered his eyes with his forearm to hide his emotions.
Heather laid her head on the softness of his abdomen and felt her head rise and fall with his breath and sobs.
