Once upon a time there was a girl named Kata. She enjoyed reading and writing prose, playing with her cats, and getting piercings. Throughout her career as a high school student she was shy and reserved, but still excelled academically and planned to pursue a degree in English.

One day Kata went mad. Maybe she'd heard one too many fast food industry jokes. Or maybe her egotistical History teacher was a tad too friendly in the hallway. All we know for sure is that she skived off class and made several seemingly unrelated purchases including a bottle of hair dye, a pre-paid cell phone, a suitcase, a pair of sunglasses, and a baseball hat.

Kata has not been seen since.
