Brief Author Bio:

I've been writing fiction since I was 13 years old. I am very passionate about my writing and love to share it with others.

Synopsis: Pureblood

Introduction of my vampire world, a prequel to another novel I've written called 'Daughters of Aaren.'

Excerpt: Pureblood

Tyrus Addison stepped out of the woods to see his family home dimly lit. This home – his home – had been built by his father’s own two hands nearly a century before his was born.

Born.

A common misconception in the human world was that vampires could only be made by another vampire. This was not so. Originally, all vampires were in fact born. The first vampires were thought to be demons, bad omens beget of damned human parents.

No one knew who the original vampire was, or if they even existed. Over the centuries they organized themselves by families or clans the eldest of which were members of a regional council which governed the clans. They were much more civilized than made vampires.

And in all of his three hundred and twenty years, he had never met a civilized Newblood vampire.
