Brief Author Bio: For the past several years I've had a major writers block and lack of interest in writing, even though I once wanted to be a writer. Maybe if I do join this challenge of writing a novel in a month, that could help me....if I can even think of something and actually write! 11/6/09: Day 1: 1546 |

Excerpt: The Third Key
This probably isn't the greatest but um....here's a part of it.
The Queen made an evil glare at Addie. “What were you doing in my courtyards?” Addie kept her head down as she tried to speak. “I…don’t…know” “What?” “I don’t know” she said once more. “What do you mean you don’t know?” Addie didn’t know what to say. Telling her that she just somehow ended up there from her closet sounded ridiculous. But it was true. Or maybe she was just having a very bad dream. Maybe she would wake up soon. The Queen was beginning to become impatient and all of a sudden rose from her seat. “I demand to know who you are at once!” Addie jumped. Then the guard spoke, “Madam is she not a servant?” “No. My servants do not dress in a manner such as that, she’s an intruder! Who let her in!?” “She must have snuck in your majesty, but the gates have been locked all day” “Throw her in the dungeons!” the Queen commanded as she threw her arm up in the air, pointing towards the door. “Perhaps some time in there will make her speak” and she sat down once again. “No!” Addie cried. She tried to get away, but only managed to run a few yards before she was caught.
