Synopsis: The Soul from the Supernova

Nova lives a quiet life as an astronomer on the small island of Asayouga. The peaceable Asayougans are caught completely unawares one night when the village is attacked by mysterious viking bandits. Nova isn't home when it happens, a fact for which he can never forgive himself as his beloved Nayeli dies in the attack.

Desperate to be reuinited with Nayeli and to escape the crumbling, dangerous world around him, Nova clings to an ancient myth about souls and the afterlife: that souls are reborn as stars in the night sky.

Nova decides he must build a spaceship and reuinite himself with Nayeli's star. With the help of a few friends, Nova will travel through many lands, fight off angry tribesmen, battle snakes in the jungle, sail the seven seas, and locate a crashed spaceship, all in an attempt to rebuild his shattered dreams.
