In this election Obama and romney have lied countless times. The only thing Obama truly did is promise change...and he did. But the question is, is it change for the worse or the better? So far it is for the worse. Not only did he cut allies over seas but he has disregarded the action to cut the pay that small businesses give to the government which allows them to hire more people which allows more jobs. Oh, and then there are the ObamaPhones?? What would i need with an ObamaPhone...first of all i already don't like the government so for them to give me a phone means more power over me because i can't afford my own phone (makes no sense). Second is the ObamaCare, i'm getting tired of him naming everything after himself, but with the ObamaCare there is a board or team of doctors rather that will choose your healthcare for you. I don't want someone to choose my healthcare for me frankly. Now true it will be paid for, and true that it will help people who aren't working but do you think Obama's kids will be on the same plan? No. the reason why gas prices are so high is because he stopped drilling in certain countries and gave them their right to drill their own oil, the problem is that we are still buying from them which compounds the problem. My moms company takes care of our healthcare but in order for it to continue there were health regulations that had to be met....they weren't there before until now....my mom has to lose 30lbs. in order for it to continue. My little brother has Eczema, the medicine we used to get him which was the real brand we can't get anymore because the price shot up....so we had to get the generic brand which only does a fourth of what its supposed to do.
Wow. What a bundle of misinformation. I'll just note in passing: it wasn't Obama who named the healthcare program Obamacare, it was his detractors. And you've completely misrepresented its workings. Your phone rant was sense-free, as was the garble about allies and small businesses. In addition, you evidently understand nothing about oil supply or international law. And a generic medicine is (legally supposed to be) absolutely identical in its active ingredients to the name brand. (My personal experience is that that is, in fact, nearly always the case. And even if it were not, how exactly would that be Obama's fault?)
I hope that by the time you're able to vote you'll be a little better informed.
All politicians lie -_- and most of the things i said he stated himself. Don't patronize me..i'm not little, i'm not small, and i'm not misimformed. I don't like Obama, I don't like how he handles some things. But I don't like Romney either, they are both evil to me. True people who work with Obama did that but guess what....Obama had a say in it. These are the bad candidates and you can't validate either one. -_- Period.
Phoenix is actually correct. Much of what Natural stated was inaccurate - HOWEVER, almost all of what she stated is being preached by the media. So it's not totally her fault that she's misinformed. Almost every news channel is trying to snowball us one way or the other.
True. But it requires very little research and only a modicum of thought to discover that most of that peculiar collection of complaints lacks a factual foundation. We're *all* being bombarded by Faux News et al., but it's possible--if we care to set aside our initial biases--to look beyond that.
The "ObamaPhone" program was actually started in '84 by Ronald Reagan. It is largely paid for by fees levied by telecommunication companies with contributions from the FCC. The governmental contribution is minimal. It pays only for discounted phone programs for income-based recipients; some cell phone providers decide to give those recipients a free phone as well. It's designed so that poor people can get call backs for jobs, hear from their kids' schools, and get in touch with health care providers. It's 250 minutes a month on a standard cell phone or landline. And in a day and age when I can't remember the last time I saw a pay phone, it's more essential than it's ever been. It is, largely, a privately funded and driven program. And it's called Lifeline, for the record.
The rest of your rant doesn't make a lot of sense, as another poster said, but I'm so sick of the damned "ObamaPhone" rumor that I could scream.
It annoys me when Americans moan about petrol prices, when we pay over double per litre. But then, I guess your country is bigger - so stuff is further away? :p
Haha! And yet in the UK I'm pretty sure we don't even HAVE Tacos to take out - you have to make them at home! (If anyone knows any different please tell me *tummy rumbles*)

Absolutely true and brilliantly stated. :]

You should hear the whining here when tacos go up by $.10...
Haha! And yet in the UK I'm pretty sure we don't even HAVE Tacos to take out - you have to make them at home! (If anyone knows any different please tell me *tummy rumbles*)
I mail you taco!
Wait, no take-out tacos at all? No Mexican family-owned business with dollar breakfast tacos?
Hey, we don't even have THE INGREDIENTS for making tacos in Paraguay. It's sad.
