DBP if he takes occasional showers
TBP if the people living in his house (or place or whatever) know about him, and just say "Oh yeah, that was the ghost" like it's nothing weird

Have a character who always carries a towel with him/her.

DBP if the character is hitchhiking at some point in the novel
TBP if it's vital to the plot

And now for just some general dares - although, feel free to take them further! ;)

-Have a zombie who died of alcohol poisoning, and is therefore constantly drunk.
-Have your characters discuss suicide. And make it funny.
-Have a character who's holding a drink in all his scenes.
-Write a scene entirely dedicated to the cooking of an egg (guaranteed word padding).

I shall do all of these. There is a good plot point waiting to be made out of that ghost (especially considering the main character is a psychopomp), I have a character wacky enough to carry around a towel at all times, I'll bet you 10 cookies I can make the scene with the egg meaningful and sad, and the suicide discussion had to come around eventually. The zombie might not be exactly a zombie, but it's a not-quite-dead-person who died of alcohol poisoning. Close enough. And he will be holding a drink in all of his scenes.
