Have one of your characters accidentally give a parrot an unfortunate name.
BP if the parrot repeats it at the worst possible time.
DBP if the MC taught this to the parrot.
TBP if the name is Dick.

BP: If the religion revolves around worshiping an inanimate object (e.g., a sock, a whisk).
DBP: If this religion gains a lot of followers.
TBP: If one of those followers is your MC.
QBP and a cookie: If it's revealed that this religion is actually the one true religion.
