Synopsis:

Sadly I've never been there. But, I'm trying to get enough research and not be so cliche considering it's Oregon. Maybe one day I can visit though and get a true feel of the place. :)

I actually lived in a town an hour away from Coos Bay for a year, and still live in Oregon, my favorite state I've lived in. My dad grew up 30 mins from there. Essentially, when he was a kid 30 years ago, it was an industrious logging town. Business was booming. Now, from what I've seen, there's still a mill or two, but they aren't as busy as they used to be. It's always grey and cloudy, and chilly but rarely freezing. Everything looks run down and outdated. I can't remember the population, but less than 100k for sure, but big enough to stretch several miles. It's also essentially merged with the city of North Bend, its sister city. There's less than a mile gap. Anyway, if you have questions about the area, feel free to pm me. Sounds like a good book!

Ooh, sounds like a good book. Plus I've lived in a town an hour and a half away from Coos Bay for 15 years, I go there every couple months because it has the closest shopping mall so it would be exciting to see a book set there.

And besides, in any case, the writer doesn't technically get a choice in the matter. However, if I had to choose (besides myself, even though I do act ;-)), it would be Emma Watson.

Synopsis:I had finally met this boy after he graduated high school. I knew all about him: his schizophrenia, his incredible powers, and about Dr. Octavian. In fact, Octavian was an old colleague of mine and we had been friends for many years and that is how I knew about the boy. And what he had been destined to do. Finally I get to meet him, and ask about the story in his point of view.

From what I knew, Patrick was an above average student in both his athletics and intellect, had schizophrenia but was able to keep it under control with medications, and had been living through the foster care system is whole life. Since he was eight, he has been moved around home to home because of complications the foster family would have with Patrick. Apparently, Patrick has behavioral issues and also no one wants to deal with his every-now-and-then schizophrenic episodes. Since they noticed that he didn't have a stable home and he was schizophrenic, the state placed him in therapy. That is all the records had told me, but I knew the truth about Patrick.

He was a science experiment. During college, I remembered Isaac as a brilliant-minded man who was very optimistic for the future and all of his goals revolved around making the world a better place. There was no doubt in anyone's mind that he would take his name in fame, but before we graduated I had noticed something had changed about him. His smile wasn't genuine anymore, it looked cynical.
I kept in touch with Isaac, but as I lost contact with him I decided to investigate on his whereabouts. That is when I found out about the experiments and Isaac's motives. I tried convincing him to stop. That what he was doing was disastrous and will not make a better world, but he just smiled at me and said,

"See that's the difference between you and I, you don't know everything, but I do."

It was already too late, PK-Agent 230 was created. He was a human who had opened up a sixth sense and was able to use pyschokinesis, only a theory in the parapsychology world but had finally came to life. His strongest psychokinetic trait was telekinesis, but with improvement and growth to his abilities he would be able to levitate himself, exhibit pyrokinesis and cryokinesis, influencing the probability in events, biologically heal himself, phase through matter, and more.

But Isaac wanted to use him for other purposes to "better the world," it was this ability PK-Agent 230 had which was able to tear things apart molecule by molecule. The last I heard about Isaac was that PK-Agent 230 had escaped and made a new identity, Patrick. After finding out that Patrick had escaped I kept a close eye on him with the help from the CIA.

Now here I am, finally meeting Patrick in person. Isaac had believed that Patrick was destined to be the final destruction of mankind, but I knew Patrick was destined to protect it

Synopsis: WereWolves, and Vampires. Two races that used to coexsist peacefully. Now they are at war. The Coast is home of the Vampire clan, the Blacklings; Werewolf Hunters and 1 of the 5 'royal' families of Vampire decended from Dracula. Elliot Blackling and his other half, Daimon, are sent inland quite a ways for training and schooling with his bodyguard, a 9 foot tall Winter Troll named Lewis.

It's Inland where they find a wolf pack, The Night Pack, which openly accepts Vampires and even has a Wolf and Vampire pair dating eachother. This Pack is the home of Ebony Marsh, the 'runt' of 6 children. her 5 elder siblings are highly protective of her, but as the pack accepts Elliot/Daimon and his guardian Lewis, the threads of fate are being woven and a war could start up again at any moment, or with one wrong move.

Synopsis: The twelve animal gods of the Chinese Zodiac get together once every few hundred years for a competition to see who can win over a lost soul. This time the Rat has found a man who comes to a dingy chinese take-out restaurant in a shady part of town every day for lunch. Soon the little hole-in-the-wall restaurant becomes the stage for an other-wordly occurrence that only a few humans bother to notice at all.
