These adorable little Japanese fox spirits just LOVE to make sure your novels are completed. But beware... If you ignore their pleas to finish your novel you will find your house... Messed up. Zero-Gravity, cats chasing dogs, fish living out of water, e.t.c. So you want one? I have one up for adoption.
Leaving:
Hikaru: She is an adorable little Kitsune. She loves to cuddle on your computer when it's not being used. She often eats ice, newspapers, and... socks. Once you adopt her if you lose socks she's to blame. She keeps you on track by annoying you (i.e. Can you finish your novel? Please? Please? PLEASE?).
I'll leave Aimee (pronounced like Amy). She's about the size of a regular fox. She has pinkish-red fur, with a white snout, paws, and tail. She's a fan of medieval stories. If you go a couple days without writing, she will be upset and yip like a baby fox to urge you to write something. At night, she'll want to snuggle with you, curled up at the foot of your bed or up by your pillow. Feed her oreos, especially peanut butter oreos, and she will be happy (as long as your novel stays on track).
Aww, I have a few kutsune to find new homes for. Anyone interested?
First up, Yume. She is, quite literally, a dream. If you're on track, that is. If not, well. Expect all your post-it notes to have been written on with guilt-trip messages, your 'recent documents' in your word files to be renamed 'nano #' and your tv remote to mysteriously disappear. Size wise, you'd be surprised such a tiny litte spirit could be so endearingly forceful to get you back on track, Yume is about as big as a tea cup.
Next is Kuro. He's playful, very much so, and requires a nice, soon-to-be-finished novel to paw over while you rest to calm him down enough for the next day. He's terribly persuasive when you're going through a rough patch, requiring only a line or two, or three, or four... maybe a paragraph?... to keep him happy. He gets on well with all sorts of other pets and is a regular sort of size for foxes. Somehow he ended up with a russet coat and two black paws.
Finally Miko, another miniature fox, perfect to observe (and persuade) from your desktop. She loves to sit in warm places when you write, and on your shoulder when you're not... just so she can whisper exactly what your missing out on as you procrastinate, not write. She's a great communicator with muses, and understands that not all days are brilliant, but she will gently persuade you to finish that novel on time. Otherwise you can kiss goodbye to your chocolate, shoes and one sock of each pair.
Miko sounds absolutely perfect! I would love to adopt her.
Now with her I would like to leave these cute little furballs.
Meet Hana and Aiko, little purple and red fox spirits with a penchant for mischief. If you don't give them more of your novel to read they'll start disorganizing all your stuff and eating all your delicious snack foods. They're sisters and can't bear to be apart from one another unless they're arguing for the spot on your right shoulder. They like being on the right shoulder. If one gets it the other resigns to being in the pocket where she can't give you more ideas. If you ignore them they go on a special mission to mess up everything. Everything that will go wrong in your life will be because you tried to ignore these two.
Kuro sounds adorable! I will take very good care of him. :)
I have a Kitsune to offer up to the NaNo-ers of the world.
Erika is a small, fox-shaped Kitsune, only about as big as a cat. Her fur is snowy white and extremely fluffy...which is to her advantage, as she tends to tickle writers when they are playing games instead of NaNo-ing. She likes to snuggle up next to you when you are writing, and loves telling people all the descriptive words she knows (This comes in very handy when you need a synonym!). Write, and Erika will be the happiest Kitsune in the world. Don't, and you will suddenly find yourself missing that stash of candy you had for later.
I'll take Hikaru! I'm always losing socks anyway, so this might help me!
Lee-Male. Small, kitten sized. Fluffy green fur with large green eyes. Very sweet and gentle, loves to sit anywhere warm. Is very adorable, which makes him sort of hard to ignore when he starts begging. He's very touchy about Angels, though. His favorite hobby: Finding socks and telling people weird old words with odd meanings, as well as some jabberwocky words.
Here's a kitsune that's just a mere pup. He's clumsy and tends to fall over a lot. The more you write, the better at walking he'll become. Be careful though, if you don't keep writing and get to the end of your book he's in danger of being taken away by distraction monster and procrastination pests!
Awww! Can I adopt Lee? He sounds perfect! We can recite jabberwocky words together. :) *shudder* and he can perhaps help me with some of my dreadful spelling/grammar habits. I'm already behind the word count. Does Lee work well with other kitsunes? I have a girl named Eun-Hwa, (Silver), too. She's kind of bossy, so if Lee's good-natured like he seems to be....Then this should work out. An adorable green kitsune~~~~ I'll take good care of him, if I get him! :) What does he like to eat? I have lots of chocolate and spare socks, if he needs. And I'll need them both. Even with Eun-Hwa pestering me I'm behind. And she bites. Hard. I need gentler urging. >< Once Eun-Hwa gets over her jealousy, and stops moping around, I'm sure they'll get along famously.
I need a kitsune...I can reach the wordcount with no prob, and have for the last four years, but only one of them actually ended, so I need a little kick in the butt to end my novel. I would prefer a small, pocket sized kitsune, as I am quite mobile and will write in many different places, I also have a pocket wordcount dragon, so the two would have to get along, as I would hate to have to keep replacing pockets...lol Sadly I have no kitsunes yet, but if any turn up I will gladly post them here.
I found this little girl in my kitchen sink. I can't keep her because of one little fact: She has Dissociative identity disorder.
Yuna (Main Personality): A small pocket-sized kitsune that is calico colored. She loves Hershey's chocolate bars. She loves to travel and see other places. She is extremely kind and doesn't want to hurt anyone. She is very soft on punishment when you don't work on your novel.
Natsu (Other Personality): A small pocket-sized kitsune that is black. She likes chicken. She would rather be writing than seeing the world even though she doesn't mind it. She is hot-headed and hates it when people procrastinate for too long. She is very strict on punishment.
Mienda (pronounced either as Mynda or Me-enda) is a rather adventurous little kitsune. She will run all around your house and make a mess of things, but can usually be placated with shiny things and stories (specifically, completed ones). Careful, though, because shiny things won't always let you procrastinate. They may just give her bigger ideas. She likes playing in streams and lakes or, alternatively, watching the fire dance (careful she doesn't get too close!). She has bright red fur and a few burn scars down the underside of her muzzle, forepaws, and belly. She's a handful, but also quite gentle and playful. If need be, she can fight off unwanted distractions tooth and claw.

I'll adopt Mienda~ A fire-obsessed fox sounds like the perfect prodder to keep me on track.
Leaving:
Mizuki-A pure white little fox with a penchant for snow and water. If you're up north where it snows in November, or if you've got a stream nearby if you're not, she'll go and play in them; but if you start slacking, she'll come and shake water all over your muse. She likes to take bites out of inner editors in particular. Her favorite food is noodles that she can slurp loudly.
This is wonderful! Considering my story focuses on Youko, the more demonic version of Kitsune, I have more than my fair share of Kitsune running around my head. I won't be adopting, but maybe I can scrounge up a few to share...?
Ah! Here we go! Meet Ten, a little sandy colored Kitsune. He's only got three tails, so he's still pretty young and not very strong, but he LOVES to play pranks! This little goof loves nothing more than a good NaNo, though beware, he's a bit of a grammar nazi. Only people who go that little bit extra and edit their novel should look to adopt Ten, as he wont accept anything less than professionalism. Get behind or slack off, and you're likely to come back with all your belongings stuck to the ceiling, except your computer, which will be sitting in a place of honor in the middle of the room. He loves tea and tofu, and the absolute best way to bribe him is to give him some Inari Zushi. They're his absolute FAVORITE.
I'd love to adopt Ten, if that's okay.. He sounds adorable; sounds like he might give me motivation to finish my novel and actually edit it this year. And I'm a bit of a gramma nazi too, so we sould get along well. :)

Note to self; phone is fine for random writing, not so great for literate commenting.
Sorry about typos D:

Yup! He will eat socks if he's hungry enough, but he does enjoy chocolate. And he should be fine with others.
Have fun with him!
