Adopt a Surname
Well, I looked around, and I couldn't seem to find a thread for this anywhere, so... here's some surnames:

Taking Riendeau. Merci beaucoup. I had chosen Rondeau as the last name of the new boyfriend of my main character's best friend (got it?). Her name is Daria Toussainte. If she and Jacques marry, well, Daria Riendeau just rolls off the tip of my tongue in such a pleasing way.

Yay! Actually, Longwell is the maiden name of my friend's mom. :3 All of these last names are people I know, except for Hindle, which I stole from Saw, Driver, and Netting.

FLYNN. Oh my goodness, I have had Jane as a character name (which the MC, hadn't EVEN ASKED ABOUT and it is already chapter 3!) And he's a stuffy sort of person so needed a surname. Yay! words while they argue about what he calls her. He'll want Miss Flynn, she will want to be Jane.

Ugh, I'm gonna let my head explode. I need a surname for the first name Kaden, whose name is actually Kaitz, who is a god of thunder and lightning, but he's undercover as a person. I'm kind of liking D'Angelo, apparently, since it flows nicely in my head, so consider that adopted please. ^^

Having such a hard time finding a surname for one of my main characters, I'm trying to find something short and 'sharp' if you know what I mean. :P I still haven't found one, but I thought I'd drop some off that I've been through and for various reasons just cannot use (including would be total give away to who my main character is based off of (physically anyways) to my friends.)

Here's a few general guidelines for some typical, European-ish names:
A lot of old professions (Miller, Carter, Potter, etc)
A lot of old names and those same names with -son added (Charles, Jameson, Benson)
A lot of Mc and Mac stuff
The directions and stuff added to the directions (Westley, Easton)
