Adopt a Catchphrase

I find these pretty fun in stories. They can kind of give a whole new tone to a character. :)

Leaving:

"Just accept it."
"Give me the goods."
"Leave it at the door."
"Oh, balls!"

Leaving:

"Bam. That's it."

"So is your mom."

"Holy Cranberries!"

I love these! My novel has some time-traveling historical figures and I think they're going to need to have some of these. Napoleon gets, "Holy Cranberries!" and I think Catherine de Medici will say, "Oh, balls!" Love it!

I guess since I adopted I'll leave some too, I don't know how good these will be though! :D

Leaving:

"Can we get a burger?"

"Yessiree!"

One I use all the time. (And it's not used in reference to an explosion, just as a "so there".)

"Old Testament" ... As in, "Damn, that was Old Testament." Or, "Do you have to be so Old Testament?"

"Good enough for ____" (Insert state or city) as in, "Good enough for Indiana" or "Good enough for Westville."

"Swing and a miss."

"Good night, and drive safely."

"Let's take that from the top."

"Are you sure you're homo sapien?"

Leaving:
"Nobody asked you."
"Should'a, would'a, could'a, didn't." (Basically means, "No excuses.")
"And yet..."
"Honey badger don't care." (If you can find a way to make this a character's catchphrase. Just. Marry me now.)

"Man Grotto" (as in "Man Cave" but a little more sophisticated)
"roughing it like we're at a Boy Scout Jamboree"

For the record, these are all legit quotes from my friends and I, so if you happen to see four 13-year-olds yelling this stuff at each other in a random public place (Ex, a baseball game), just walk away and we won't bother you (as long as 13-year-olds yelling random quotes at each other at the top of their lungs doesn't bother you).
