That could be anything! Maybe someone (or multiple someones) are committing lewd acts in public. At a school. Or a grocery store. "Panicking would do her no good, and she needed to focus her senses, a task more easily achieved when one isn’t imagining the worst happening."

Actually, a receptionist just got killed and the killer has been tied to a chair. In the midst of the MC's interview for a secretive agency that's recruiting her. :) As for yours, tricky! I imagine she's tied up in a remote location and is trying to find a way to escape without her captives noticing, because that would be "the worst". Yes? No?

She's in trouble of some sort, and using logic to find an escape. Just walked into a nest of the enemy and managed not to be discovered...yet. I got nothing else. My brain is fried at 5 in the AM. My last line was: She didn’t really have an answer for her friend, and could only reply dismissively, “Yeah, I’ll get back to you on that one.”

So she's buying herself time to think up a convincing excuse. One last line, coming right up! Luther remembers Gabriel saying tell them hi and decides that he has no intention of telling his sisters anything.

I sort of think of the character "Cal" in Titanic. At least it was my first thought. Kind of like the guy or guys were standing in black and white suits and looking at each other like the hated one another. "Jal." And after that a snort comes. Kind of. That is how I hear it. It's not much to go on, but at the same time, the word "musical" makes me want to change my assumption. It almost makes the guy see the other one as interesting. Like, "wow, this seems utterly boring, but he has that uh-uh that makes me wanna go wu-huh!" Wow, that sounded embarrasingly dumb. Something like that, make up your own mind. I don't even know if Jal is a boys or girls name. Mine now (a quote from one of my characters): "Our roads have crossed earlier..."

Evidently, Raff is a goldfish and therefore has a very short-term memory. Meanwhile, Jude (possibly Jude Law, as I don't know any other men named Jude) is very lonely, and only has his goldfish to talk to, but he is also frustrated by Raff's poor conversation skills and occasionally has aggressive outbursts, shouting at Raff and shaking his bowl, which he regrets later. He is trying to reform himself into a peaceful man, so that social services don't take Raff away from him. And here's mine: “There’s no science here,” a voice said from behind the door.

Well in that case I'll play along here too: I assume they're talking about a soap opera or comic book series. :P Mine (It's long and kind of self explanitory but it is the last line I wrote) : Most of the crew had to think back over the Mama Earth section of their history classes to know how plants worked but Luis seemed to remember without effort and it would certainly help to have a partner who understood where their child was being raised because Ra had every intention of giving her child the same chances she'd had to run, climb and swim through her childhood.

Sounds like a fantasy story and the baddie is asking a person of higher rank, perhaps someone the baddie has in their possession, for very important information, likely that ties in with the overall plot of the story and pertains to the MC being the 'last Guardian'. Unless I'm just thinking a bit of The Dark Crystal here. xD My last line: “Blah, blah, blah. Why do men like you always make idle threats before you have your ass handed to you?” Saint asked with an eye roll.

One of the bad guys is doing the evil monologue thing and it's starting to piss off Saint, who will very soon resort to ass-kicking of an epic level. Dead right about Maya being pissed. All three girls are sisters. Odell is married and no longer lives at home. So she doesn't know that Miranda recently discovered that she was a changeling and (for various reasons) had to leave home as well. Odell said something cruel about Miranda to Maya. Maya tried to hold her tongue because she was out at the fair with a boy she kinda-maybe likes, and anyway didn't want to get into a shouting match with her sister in public.

I would assume your character is a journalist/columnist, maybe a travel writer. And they went to Random, got high, and went on a water slide that seemed to be infinitely larger and longer than it actually was. And they have to do it soon (but obviously not tonight) so they've been up all night arguing about how to escape until Nye decides they're getting nowhere and sends them to sleep. I had no way of knowing that this was a ruse.”

Wow. That's a hard one. Let's see... The Speaker made a judgement about a possible terrorist attack that was incorrect due to faulty intelligence. As a result the attack took place but there was no one there to stop it as they were hanging out in DC preparing for the fake attack. Mine: "Stop," Sanas said quickly, "stop..." he could see the darkness lingering at the end of the hall. It seemed to advance towards them as Mora and Essdar argued.

This thought taunts her, but she realizes that her excessive shopping isn't going to pay for itself. And why is her husband glad to be jailed? I'm guessing your character just got mugged by a past life, is doing something that resembles reenacting an epic fantasy battle (at least in a metaphorical sense) on a museum lawn, and is about to catch hell from the cops. Clear as mud, right? I would expect that there is alcohol involved, though ideally there would be ninjas.
