On November first, I will be lowering myself into a specially retrofitted Soviet-era bathysphere deep beneath the San Francisco Bay, where I will be writing for thirty days without distraction from the surface world, or perhaps going mad from isolation and the low-grade claustrophobia from which I already suffer.
I am already pre-blogging about the event at sebastianmalloy.com, as well as tweeting at @sebastianmalloy, so please grab yourself a brandy, pull up a comfortable chair beside the fire, and stop by and say hello.
Are any of you, fellow achievers, blogging or tweeting about your upcoming bout with literary madness? If so, let us know! I for one would love to follow your stories of setbacks and triumph, of tears of frustration and of joy. We are all of a common tribe, my friends. Come sit by the fire and share your tales of glory.

This happens more often than you might think, the result of a curse laid upon me by a gypsy fetishist from the old country, New Jersey. As is often the case in situations such as mine, the cure happens to be worse than the disease, and so I have chosen to embrace my paranormally-heightened adorableness, and to live out the remainder of my life as best I can.
Do not weep for me. I have learned to live with my ailment, and refuse to let it hinder me in achieving my goals.
Don't know if you can tell from my pic, but I can't blog the amount of hairs I pull out because the answer is already "all of them." I'm the single parent of two teenage girls, after all.
I am adding you on Tumbler, Emdog. Let's make 50K. And 50000 words, too.
Hey Stuff for My Memoir! I was looking through your blog and wanted to comment on a post, but didn't see a way to do so. Do I have to have a Tumblr account or something?
I admire your discipline of not rereading over anything but the last few sentences every time you sit down to write. I allow myself to read up to the last chapter, but restrain as much as possible from editing.
While I am certainly not in love with you, a brief glimpse of your bloggings did entice me to print your picture off and tape it to my bedroom ceiling. I must make room in my brain for your scrawlings and have, therefore, added your RSS feed to my aggregator and have also started following you on Twitter. Closely. Smell my breath? It's minty.
I am blogging over at theaccidentalnovelist.wordpress.com
I post NaNo stats and progress along with writing exercises and tips. I would love to commune with fellow NaNo bloggers as I find the forum a bit unwieldy. (egad, it says there are 125,000 people on this site right now)

Let me first say that I have also bookmarked you, because we artists need to support one another in our times of creative frenzy. Secondly, I applaud your use of the name "Sebastian," and as I haven't yet received confirmation of my trademarking of the name from the government, please feel free to use it with my blessing, completely free of a licensing fee.
Good luck in your writing endeavour, and keep us all posted!
It took me the longest time to figure out his name. Went through quite a number of different ones before finally ending up with "Sebastian" a few years back (my FMC has a number of different names for him!). His surname is the highly unoriginal "Jones" (shamelessly stolen from "Indiana Jones"), but he doesn't use that very often.
Oh, wow, your list is crazy long. Are all those NaNo bloggers from this year?
I've only made it to a few of you guys so far. Must be careful not to get sucked into the black hole that is the blogosphere. (do people still use that term or am I behind the times?)
I have blogged several times about my trips through NNWM 2010 and Camp NNWM 2011. It can be found at: Fantasy Gathering. I definitely will end up making a few posts through November about my latest attempt on my next story.
I try to blog but I get bogged down enough just writing for NaNo during NaNoWriMo. However I do keep up a steady stream of tweets @Aliddotia, usually marked with the #NaNoWriMo hashtag.
I've been blogging even longer than I've been nanoing. I will be blogging about my creative process at http://warriorgirl.blogspot.com/ but I'm not just doing writing, I"m also going to be blogging about my artwork because I am also participating in art everyday month here http://creativeeveryday.com/art-every-day-month . Call me crazy, but switching back and forth between writing and art actually helps me be creative. I don't know if I will manage to blog every day, I think that WOULD be crazy, but I'm going to try to keep the writing and art up.
Well, aren't you all ambitious? I use NaNo as an ironclad excuse NOT to update Move Over Mary Poppins. I do however, lead a merry troop of Wrimos from a little community called Write on Edge.
We're always looking for more lemmings... er members. Yes, that's it.
Thanks for the invite MOMP! (ooh, great acronym. I like acronyms. especially redundant ones.)
Love the site and hope to participate in your Red Dress prompt - maybe after NaNo - I added my name to the Weekend List and have been looking through the other blogs. Great community of writers.
I'm an active (probably too active) member on the Wizards of the Coast community. I plan on "blogging" over there about it. Not all of it will be NaNo-related, but here's the link just in case: http://community.wizards.com/telinartho/blog/?pref_tab=blog
i dont blog not interesting enough but i do tweet i am now following Sir Sebastian... i have no idae how to invite peopl i am Froggi P feel free to find me and follow
Usually I do a few NaNo updates at my sort of very random blog, life, the universe and everything. If you circled me at Google+ I'll probably share links there when I do.

I hope all of you realize that now, since I will be following all of your blogs, I will quite possibly get nothing done when it comes to writing my own novel, simply for lack of time.
fretting over that will quite likely derail at least the first five minutes of my project... maybe even 6. You'll have plenty of time to read as well as write, I'd think, holed up your submersible.
No one apologizes to me when I get lost in hours worth of worthless wiki searching, I don't see why I should apologize for providing a distraction to someone else.
(and in case the implied eye wink is not carried through - I'm just joking).
As this is my first blog, I've really no idea what I'll be blogging about. In the past, I've either Twittered or FB'd my word counts, but that's about it. I think my blog will need more than that.
Well, I usually write about how the rest of my life is going to he** in a handbasket because NaNo has me so distracted. I don't post what I wrote though..
What a coincidence. You haven't written anything before (except the post that claims you've never written anything before), and I've never finished anything thing I've ever written before (not counting school; school doesn't count).
Seems like the place to be. Consider yourself followed... I mean your blog, of course.

Now I'm certainly in love with you. ;-)

Good luck, sir

I am glad to have made an impression, even if it's not quite reached the level of love... yet.
Good luck to you as well!

Can I have port instead of brandy?
Re: Blogging NaNo
Any alcoholic port in a storm, I say.
Re: Blogging NaNo
Well, I can't have brandy, but am now faithfully stalking...umm, i mean...following, you on Twitter.
Re: Blogging NaNo
First time I did NaNo, I twittered. Last year, I Facebook'd. This year, I've started my first ever blog.
I've no idea what I'll be blogging, but it's different, so I'm willing to have a go.
You can find my blog on my site at blog.rudderham.co.uk, if it's of interest to anyone.
I've bookmarked yours, Sebastian. (Should I mention now that my MMC is called "Sebastian"? Total coincidence, I assured you!). :)

I usually blog about my writing shenanigans at Don't Shake the Flask. I keep a list of Nanowrimo blogs here, which I update about once a week.

Yep. They're currently all bloggers who are active in Nanowrimo this year.
Re: Blogging NaNo
Super. I'll check out as many as I am able.
Re: Blogging NaNo
I'm hoping to blog NaNo this year (and tweet it). Blog is located here: krazikrys writes!
Re: Blogging NaNo
Mine is at http://annayork.livejournal.com All my NaNo posts are public, so you don't really need to add me if you just wanna follow :-)

I have my boringly named blog at http://taischnano.blogspot.com/. I post more in November when I'm avoiding writing my novel.
Re: Blogging NaNo
Dammit, 1) no edit button? 2) oh well, that wasn't how to make a linky. Bah.
