I know there are a few threads like this in the All-Ages Forum, but I thought I'd go ahead and post this here for people who are looking for penpals in their own age group.

I've come to love pen-palling, and have met some really awesome people on here. But I'm always looking for more, so here's a little bit about me.

For now, you can call me Beh, a nickname given to me by one of my very first penpals. I'm seventeen and a senior in high school; I'll be graduating in December. I'm a shy, geeky girl. I like reading, writing, anime, manga, snail mailing, etc. I'm a little bit cynical about certain things (I don't believe in teenage relationships, so if you're looking for someone to brag about your non-existent boyfriend/girlfriend to, I'm not the one.) but I'm trying to be more open-minded. I'm not religious, but I like to learn about religions. I want to learn about other cultures and languages too, so if you're from another country that's awesome.

There's probably a lot more I could say, but if I wrote it all now, what would we have to talk about later? Anyway, personally I'm only looking for SNAIL MAIL penpals. I never check my email. So if anyone's interested, send me a PM!

Oh good, I'm glad this thread's back.

I'm Aaron. I'm 19 and a sophomore at Brown University, currently studying computer science. I'm into game design (started writing videogame dialogue, haha), music (play cello, compose, hoard) and some other miscellaneous Japanese things (language, visual novels, Touhou). Oh, and FIRST robotics if anyone's heard of that.

My favorite author's Vonnegut and some of my favorite books would have to be... Breakfast of Champions, Shadow of the Wind, Wise Blood, Slaughterhouse Five, and Catch-22. (It's hard to only pick a handful...) I write mainstream stuff, also short stories, fantasy, and VN scripts. I'm probably a better editor than writer and I'd love to help revise any writing you'd care to show off...!

Well, anyway, if any of that sounds interesting, don't hesitate to drop me a nanomail. I'd prefer email as mailbox/stamps and everything is kind of weird to use on campus, but it could work. I usually get back to people within a a day or two and carry on conversations about schools, authors, games, philosophy, history, internet, anything and everything. My name is Chelsea, I'm 19 and I live in Oregon. I currently work as a waitress/hostess at a Resort near my house, and I properly love it, despite hating all the customers that come through the door. Hello everyone. Kierra, seventeen years old, high school senior, at your service.
Some stuff about me:
-I love music. Seriously. My favorite genre is like 80's hair bands, but I'm also starting to love k-pop, and I've at least /heard/ most of the mainstream stuff that's going around these days.
-I'm fairly cyncial. Also, I have a really odd sense of humor, so it amuses me when people lable me cynical (even though it is true xD)

Hello everyone!!

I'm Misha and just getting back into the swing of Nano forums. (maybe I'll be a bit more active this year. Or maybe I won't..)

I love snail mail and I try my best to write back promptly when I don't have a lot of schoolwork. I like to send "mail art" (not male art) and interesting, fun, random things.

My letters tend to be a bit flighty, a bit long, a bit rambly, (hopefully) interesting, sometimes idealistic... Just don't be too surprised when I start talking about my mental self doing cartwheels through meadows when I'm happy. ^-^

I love: art, music (Esp. Acoustic guitar), Africa (with a flaming passion), weird descriptions, run-on sentences, Valentines, Valentines commemorating authors who use run-on sentences (Charles Dickens may or may not have featured on last year's homemade valentines...), peacocks, and FLOWERS!!!! Among many other things.
