Working on basic characters. Name. Where they're from. A slight backstory. And also an overall arc. I want to do a collection of shorts for June and an actual novel in August, so I have to plan for a lot more stories than I usually do at a time... But I don't develop too much ahead of time or I get sick of the story before I get close to done.
I'm planning in Scrivener already, chapter by chapter and scene by scene (slowly), along with background information. After having no more than a vague idea when I first did NaNo, I am going to the other extreme now! ...I hope I don't burn out. But I don't think I will.
I'm creating intensely detailed character profiles, and getting all research done beforehand, because I wasted far too much time in November searching for pointless little things- such as names. I'm creating most of the characters beforehand.
I've already got my character profiles and physical descriptions. Now I'm actually in the process of outlining so I don't keep blathering on and on like I did in November. So far things seem to be going rather well...hopefully that's indicative of a trend.
I'm very excited for Camp! I'm looking forward to more writing time. :D
I am doing it both months, but I'm in a pickle. I forgot about Script Frenzy. Completely. And now it's like a month away. Since I don't have time to come up with another character thing and plot and everything, one of my books will also be a script! I don't know how well it's going to work though...
I'm thinking about doing CampNaNo....if I can get my story plotted out enough before then. I have several different stories that I want to writer, so that's not a problem...I just need to map them out.
I'm winging it--well, mostly. :T I planned a lot of my novel last year, which never got finished, so my plan for this year; do next to absolutely nothing!
Besides a few basic details, I have squat. Now I'm just waiting for June.

Re: Teens Planning for CampNaNo
I am coming up with plot, and character, and come up with a few things I want to happen, and that is about it.

Re: Teens Planning for CampNaNo
I'm definitely participating and am planning my characters right now. I'll probably start writing a chapter synopsis soon, too.

I've got all the characters and the setting fixed, but I'm still working out the plot in my head.
