i named my old ipod Ravage (it died...).

Sylvia now belongs to E.
But I have a new ipod, and it's anonymous. hm...

I name all of my electronics, and even a few things that aren't electronic.
My phone's name is Matthiew, or Matt. He's a bit troublesome, that one, but he's a good boy most days. My old phone's name was Frankie, middle name Patrick.
My laptop's name is Kasey, and lately he likes to be an obnoxious teenager and make my life harder when I'm using the internet by making my browser run all slow.
My camera is named Arianna. Not actually my camera, technically my mom's, but I use her more than she does.
I have a pair of sweat pants named Donnie, a shirt named Richard, and my guitar's name is Flynn (poor baby, just sitting in the corner, he needs a more loving mommy).

My iPod is named Sprocket the Pod Wonder, partially after the dog on Jim Henson's 'Fraggle Rock' and partially for Robin the Boy Wonder because my case has the Bat-signal on it.
My laptop computer is named the Oracle at Delphi, Delphi for short (partially for my love of Greek mythology, but also for my greater love of Oracle the superheroine)
My phone's name is Lois which is what I randomly named my text ringtone one day. Let's blame it on Lois Lane and move on with our lives.
I haven't named my iPod dock yet, but I'm thinking either Kermit or Jim to go with my iPod.

Netbook: Carlos (after the pretend name given to the baby in "The Hangover").
Cell phone: Drea (my coworkers & I all have Android powered phones, so we all gave our phones names that started with D)
Camera: Miss Peacock

Previous names: Camera (Isabella Soprano) was married to my cell phone (Tony Soprano) who had a tattoo of Jessica Rabbitt (aka a sticker) on his back. They fought all the time & didn't get along very well. Then Tony drowned (aka I flushed him down the toilet by accident), and I replaced him with Rosalie, a pretty red phone. Soon after, Isabella came to her demise. She was replaced by my new camera, Miss Peacock. My first computer was named Della Reese (it was a big, fat, clunky Dell) & my iPod was named Igor von Touchtenstein. My original iPod Nano was nameless.

The only electronic device I have officially named as of now is my laptop. Since it's a jet-black HP, I found it fitting to name it Harry Potter.

Ha I read your post and then saw your picture... Malfoy still isn't as totally awesome as Harry freaking Potter. iPod didn't wanna spell Potter right... I'll name it Patrick, from spongebob. Because Patrick is dumb. And my Kindle dies alot so I'll name it Kenny, from south park. Oh yea.

I tend not to name things- HOWEVER my iPod and I are totally BFFs so I've named him. He's Quentin- and he's homosexual just because I prefer everything to be gay.

I'm a complete Doctor Who nerd so my phone is the TARDIS (complete with TARDIS materialization noise as ringtone) and my computer is Interface (from The Girl Who Waited).

My headphones are Rose, after Rose Tyler. Yes, from Doctor Who. Cellphone? David, as in David Bowie. It's just that amazing, not to mention it lives forever. The battery never dies. My home computer's name is Merlin. Not because it's magical or anything. Just because I like that name.
As for your school computer... ever consider Severus? I like to name school things after people at Hogwarts. My backpack is Minerva.

All my electronics are named after the pacman ghosts. My computer is Blink because it often crashes on me. My phone is Inky because it is blue. My ipod is Dinky because it is tiny, a nano. My Coach chair is Clyde. And of course the most awesome and important one is my massive tea/coffee mug. It's name is Goliath! It is massive we figured out that it can hold about 2 1/2 cups of tea...that's a lot!!

If you don't already have a name for your second computer, I suggest Eddie. He's very cheerful, and super-positive in any situation. Would you like some tea?

Wow. I don't tend to name electronics, but my trumpet is called Hikari and have a skull named Sherlock. A real foxes skull, we found it in the woods one day. Although my HTC Wildfire is named Marvin because the touchscreen hates me and everybody else and tends to go and sulk whenever I ask it to do something. Also, my bike is named Saphira.

I haven't named any of my electronics yet... Although I'm obsessive about making sure they all are purple or have purple cases...

My i-pod is called Flo, I'm not entirely sure why...
My phone is currently un-named, as I'm mad at it because it misbehaves so much!

I call my laptop "The Pan". As in Peter Pan.

I also named my friends car (a red bug, not really electronic either I suppose) Elmo.

My home computers are named after French surrealists (though my laptop bears Mark Twain's middle name). My iPods are named after '80s subcultural references.

My new GPS system is Gladys. She's stuck up and snooty and I am still not sure if we can make this relationship work. My desktop is Lassie. My laptop is Pinky. My dog's chew toy is Funky, so that I can say, "Juliet, get Funky!"

I've yet to name my external hard drive, but I'm on the market for an epic name right now.

My laptop is named Dexter (as in Dexter's Laboratory not Dexter as in the serial killer).
The big home computer is named Bertha (because it's a girl, but she can process/run EVERYTHING AT THE SAME TIME)
My MP3 is Faithful (because it's one of those old ones where if you drop it, the cover comes off, and it's been repaired an infinite number of times, BUT STILL WORKS!!).
And finally, the small computer I have in my room, is currently Nicola (Because it's an arrogant asshole like Nicola from Sanctuary, however his name changes every few months (he was Leonard last year)).

My first compyuter was named alex. It was a great laptop. I have a computer named temptation, tempy for short. I took it apart and removed the delete keys thingy to make it work. Now I type with it cuz my addiction to deleting is taken care of.

My netbook is Sere N. Dipity and my mouse is DooDah.

The second (120GB classic) is James (or more commonly, jimmy...after an imaginary friend featured often in rather amusing videos by a pair of Scottish girls on youtube)
My first laptop (poor thing, never worked from the start really), was Ambrielle (after a character in 'Stained Glass' by Michael Bedard), which when I got my first (working) laptop, I named it in dedication to her Ambrielle the Second.
My family/home computer, is Xaviera.
My acoustic guitar is Hannah, my electric, Parker (female, after a Radio Free Roscoe character- oh the days of that show)

And in the list of my old cell phones....My first was Sally (Nightmare Before Christmas), then there was Tally (Uglies), and now I have...er, I don't think I've named my newer one!

Current laptop Beowulf (Yes I like naming my computers after heroes of legend)
Dead Printer Enkidu (don't name stuff Enkidu, apparently it kills the electronic in question o_O)

Lola and Bi-Bi are secret lovers however Lola is cheating on Bi-Bi with my iPod named Zeus.

Zeus has a thing for my air conditioner named Carly and therefore, they had a secret wedding and produced my iPods Frick and Frack...

Frick and Frack are attached at the hip and at the current moment are in between relationships with electronics.

I name pretty much everything. I love my ipod's name. He is Willard Woden the Third:-) And my computer has amnesia and can never remember his name so he changes it all the time. My '88 dodge dakota's name is Roger. Oh, and my husband's ford ranger's name is CiCi after the woman from The Nanny that no one likes. Roger thought she was pretty until she decided to be rude and totally ignored him!

My laptop's name is Ace (because he's an Acer), my iPod's name is iSkye, my Nintendo DS is Fabio, who is gay, but had a fling with my acoustic guitar Claire (not electronic but whatever) and they birthed George, my electric guitar. My phone's have all had Fr- names. my current one is Francois. as for your school computer, I'd go with Francine myself.

I named my laptop Jeff. He has 2 USB friends. Klaus (named after the main character in my story) and Henry Honu (Honu is the Hawaiian word for turtle and this USB drive is shaped like a turtle). My iPod is named Simon Mortimer Laredo (Simon and Mortimer are both names mentioned in episodes of American Dad and Laredo references an Electric Light Orchestra song called 'Laredo Tornado'.). :D My phone doesn't have a name... :P

My NOOK is Alfred, my phone is Lola, My car is Bawnkweshanaynay (Bonnie for short) my friend has a yukon XL named Clyde (Bonnie and Clyde shared the same owner for awhile) My old iPod was George and the new one has yet to be named. Ironically, I have no problem naming electronics, my novel on the other hand.....

I name my computers too! My big desktop, which I rarely use (it's a battleship, but too damn cumbersome 90% of the time) is The Beast. I gutted and rebuilt it myself, and it's about 7 years old, but runs like a TANK.

My Dell laptop, 6 years old, which I use for writing, is Baby...yes, there's a MAJOR sentimental attachment there; it's the first computer I had bought and paid for myself, and for a 6-year-old, it is AWESOME.

My 2-year-old but second-hand Powerbook is named The Gremlin. It's old as dirt, but it handles Photoshop like a master.

My couple-month-old Netbook is the Mini-Beast. Same specs as the Beast, but in purse-size.

My 2-year-old iPod touch is...Baby Grand. :)

And I just acquired a camera, a Nikon D-series, which I named The Beauty....because, honestly, I'm a big ol' nerd and the tech on this camera blew. my. mind.

My desktop computer is named Daisy, my iPod was named Brod (from the name of the river Trachimbrod in Everything is Illuminated. . .I heart Jonathan Safran Foer) until she passed away, and my laptop's name is Bernadette. She's large and in charge.

My boyfriend is obsessed with Norse names, so when I inherited his iPod the only stipulation he gave me was that I keep its original name: Hrothgar. He also has a Mac desktop named Ragnar and a portable hard drive named Odin AllStorage.
