I've noticed I have a difficult time looking characters in the eye due to a fear of being judged by the imaginary people in my head, so I cover up my face and pretend they can't see me. I tend to alternate between my bear hat, when it's cold, and one of my other hats when it's warmer. I guess my main writing hat is probably my green one.
