So I'll do one in June, and then the other in August. Since I won't be doing anything in July, I figured I would try to write a short story in French. I'm currently taking French III as a freshman in high school, and I really love the language, but do you think that this will be to much for me to do? I won't be doing anything else over the summer, and I'd love to spend my time improving my writing abilities in two languages. Taking on three projects will take up my entire summer (which is great seeing as my parents would go off on me if I so much as mentioned being bored over break). I know I have a few months until school's over, but I want to have the time to plan beforehand. Especially since both camps will be rewrites and not entirely new material. It seems a little easier if you have a sense of where to go (I say after spending all night trying to figure out where to start my rewrite, but I never got a satisfactory beginning on the first... I can't even call it a draft. I don't think I should even call this a rewrite. My Nano '10 is just a collection of starts and a few random scenes after the start.) Just so long as you are sure you wont wear yourself out right before the fall semester starts, there is nothing wrong with your plan. I'm sure your parents will be pleased to see you working on your foreign language over break too. I certainly never did.
