Firs tof all, Adam created this thread and LOADS of people replied so I don't want to take the credit for something I haven't done. However, the boards were COMPLETELY wiped so I thought I'd start it again - hope nobody minds and Adam please forgive me if this seems rude. Just thought I'd get the ball rolling again ...

Count me in! I love snail mail although, as another poster wrote, I can't reply immediately I get a letter. I find it easier to give it a few days (not usually more than a week) so I can read through properly and reply appropriately.

Just a little about me - I am 44, not married but in a long term relatonship with a guy who is also a writer. I get lonely sometimes because I have problems finding work due to a major accident which left me with many injuries and was exacerbated by the hospital messing up on the surgery! I had just found the job I could do and had to change it because I was physically unable to do the same type of work - I had children climbing all over me in my last job (an 11 year old tried to climb me because he was autistic and frightened of a moth! :-)) I am only tiny (4 ft 11) but he didn't care! :-) I have always believed I have no skills but a conversation with a guy from Working Links revealed my best skill is my ability to listen and be non-judgemental - I can listen for hours and not fidget. As a result I'm retraining to become a counsellor. I love it but it does take you to places you hoped you'd never go again! It also helps you to understand yourself.

I have only recently changed my attitude - after the accident I believed I can't do things ... well there's no such word as can't, it's two words and both are an attitude you can choose - I now choose the attitude that I can do anything I want, even if I have to figure out a different way of doing it.

I am passionate about my writing (who isn't?) and, given half a chance, would write all day. I can't write with the tv or music on because it influences what I write. In my first novel I accidentally put a soap character in there without realisting it! It actually fits so I've kept him in there. We are making a film of one of my books and hoping for a second to follow shortly. I usually write children's stories but I'm trying to branch out into different genrres. I get very excited when I get a good idea but 9 times out of ten I forget to bring some paper with me! At one point I had 42 penfriends and yes, I did keep up with them all.

I am incredibly loyal to my friends and will fight to the death for them. I used to have a phobia of dogs but have over come that to a point because my sister got a gorgeous black labrador and she's so soft I've started getting to know other dogs and have been pleasantly surprised by the fact that they can be friendly!

What else? I'm spiritual (very interested in the paranormal though not tarot cards), love photography, castles, history, reading - and interviewing celebrities for charity. That's probably my favourite hobby! :-) I also love finding really unusual facts (probably one of the reasons I love research too). I am happy to write to anyone but obviously I would prefer people to be older rather than just starting out in life ... you'd be amazed how many children gravitate to me! ANYONE who writes will get a warm welcome. Oh and my final "hobby" is raising money and awareness for the Alzheimers Society and Platform 51.

Reading this back I come across as hard which is not what i intended. It's very hard to write about yourself! Please believe me when I say I'm an old softy. Shoot me a nanomail if you are interested and I'll write back - all letters will be answered.

Pfff, it's not rude at all! Thank you for starting up the thread again! I'm actually really happy (and flattered) that the snail mail thread I made was such a success. I hope everyone has found a snail mail buddy or two.

Beh

I love this thread, it's where I met some of my favorite people! But I'm always looking for more snail mail pals, so here goes.

I'm Beh (a nickname given affectionately by one of my first penpals!). I'm seventeen, a senior in high school who's going to graduate in the next couple of months. I'm a shy/geeky type girl- I like reading, writing, anime, manga, history, snail mailing, etc. I love writing letters and wish I had one to write every day of the year. I'm not one of those who takes a week or longer to reply- usually I sit down, read the letter, start writing, and within a few hours, I'm all caught up again. This is not because I rush through them. xD It is because I have no life and I think the faster I send it out, the faster I get mail back. And I do love mail.

Let's see... I've been on NaNo for a few years on various accounts. I believe I've been here since 2008, but I'm going through a huge motivational drought and never manage to even get started. :( Anyone who has any advice on this problem is welcome to message me! ;D

Some important things you should know:
-I'm not religious. I don't care what religion you are, just don't try to force it on me 'cause I'm not interested. If it's something besides Christianity I'd love to hear all about the religion itself, but I doubt I'll ever follow one. (If I did, it would probably be Wiccan.)
-I don't believe in teenage love, so if you're one of those teenage boy/girls who's going to talk about "my boyfriend is so awesome!", please don't bother. You can pretend to have one all you want, however, just don't waste your time telling me about it because I will be very blunt with how I feel about it.
-I'm starting to sound kind of mean. I swear I'm not, there are just certain things I don't want to read about. And if your letter is about something I'm not interested in, why would I bother wasting money to reply to it?

So, I would prefer people within the age group of 14-19. I'm open to both male and female penpals, however, I've yet to find a guy who wants to penpal simply for the sake of writing letters. I'm not looking for a relationship because I'm a cynic and I don't believe in them, and even if I was, I have standards and some random guy on the internet is not going to live up to them. So females, pretty much a yes. Guys, I'd love to see someone prove me wrong so I can stop sounding so sexist.

If you're going to write me a one-page letter and give me nothing to work with, scroll on down the page. I don't necessarily want you to send me a novel, but I get all excited when I get mail, and it's very disappointing when I read and in two minutes, I realize the wait was for nothing. I'm not setting a page minimum because I know it's difficult and sometimes people are busy with other things in their life. Shorter letters are okay occassionally, but if it's going to be an every-time thing, I can't afford to be penpals with you.

I'd prefer it if you had something in common with me. Place in life, opinions on things, interests/hobbies, etc. I'm interested in penpals both here in the States and beyond. Anyone from out of country (who fits the rest of the requirements) is welcome to message me simply because I love learning about other cultures and languages.

There's a whole lot more to me, but if I post it all here, what will there be to write about in the letters? So, if you're interested, send me a PM (if you reply on here I probably won't see it.) and I'll get back to you ASAP. I'm on NaNo constantly when I'm not and school- and sometimes when I AM in school.

Thanks!

-Beh (Because you don't need to know my real name yet. :3)

This is such a great idea! I love getting letters, haha :D

I'm Ily (short for Emily), I'm 17 and I've left school. I live in Southern Spain, but I'm English :) Currently, I'm preparing to attempt to join the British army (which means way too much exercising ;_;). I tend to be very loud, once you get to know me, and I'm terrible at keeping my opinions to myself :P

I have...a lot of hobbies, some not so interesting but I tend to talk about them a lot. My major hobby is horse riding (and I'd love more people to geek out about it with) and I used to work at a stables before quitting for personal reasons. I love writing (obviously), reading, history and politics (but don't worry, I don't force my opinions on anyone unless they get me started :p). I love music and listen to a lot of it, and I watch a lot of TV (I see it as inspiration!). I'm not too great with films because I have terrible attention span, and a 2 hour film can take me 2+ days to finish watching. I've still not finished Inception :p

I'm a total geek for the paranormal/supernatural. Get me started on ghost-type things and we'll be here all day discussing my thoughts (and hearing my rants...). I love discussions and debates. I'm not religious, but I do respect religion unless it's forced on me. I actually really enjoy learning about religion, from an academic point of view. I'm the type of person who wants to learn anything and everything, so if you're the type of person who likes teaching, we're a perfect match :P

I'm very, very interested in civil rights and equality. If you're someone who doesn't believe everyone should be equal, we may have a bit of a problem there. If my personal beliefs get offended, I get angry and ranty and it's always best to avoid that.

I don't really care about age at all :D I get on with everyone (though I am still confused when people are younger than me, for some reason). Gender doesn't bother me either, again, I can get on with anyone unless they offend me. I don't mind where you're from either (yay learning about other cultures!) though I am particularly partial to British people just because I miss my home and would want to hear all about every single aspect of life. Including the weather. Essays about the shitty weather would make me smile, lmao. I get homesick so easily and I've not been back to the country since I left ;_;

One last thing, I'll only write in English! I do speak Spanish, but I cannot write in it to save my life. Really, I was in a Spanish school for years and my complete inability to write in it drove my teachers insane. Sorry :(

Send me a PM if you're interested and I'll get back to you asap! :D

I've never had a pen pal (except for a soldier that wrote back and forth to my Sunday school in 4th grade) but I'd love one!

I'm 18, in Indiana. Living an awkward year between high school and college. I like to spend time at home, hopefully to catch a nap at the random times I get sleepy (I never sleep when I'm supposed to). In fact most of the time I'm gone for a majority of the day I have to nap at some point.
Right now I watch Asain Dramas (so far mainly Korean) to relax at the end of the day although I only speak English. I'm learning German as well but no where near fluent.

I literally like just about everyone. For the most part I'm the annoying one in a friendship, haha.
I really don't know what else to say but I would love a pen pal, so shoot me a message :)

Hello! My name is Kim, I'm 21 years old and I live in a little house on a little farm in a little town in Saskatchewan, Canada. I am currently unemployed, actively seeking employment, living with my boyfriend. My house is always clean but that's because I am always home. I was in my 3rd year of a BA in English (concentration in Creative Writing) when I left because 1) What am I going to do with a BA in English in a town of 100 people and 2) the English program has a crafty way of completely depleting you of all joy when it comes to reading. Also, I ran out of money and I wanted a new car :D

I like many things, but I'll narrow them down for you: reading and writing, baking, music, Harry Potter, Supernatural, History Channel, Discovery Channel. documentaries, poetry, literary theory (if I had gone onto grad school, I would have studied literary theory), video games (Dragon Age, holla), various crafting, and an odd assortment of enjoying cleaning my house and grocery shopping. My favourite genres are... everything. But lately, I've been into non-fiction personal accounts and fantasy novels. I switch constantly. I just got a shiny new library card and I can have 100 books at a time on my card. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to sign up for one so I can have 200.

When it comes to reading and writing, I will try anything once. I have story ideas ranging from paranormal novella with psychics, healers and hunters to a novel about a man searching for his brother. I love love love to help people with their writing problems. I'm not a professional, but I love talking ideas and issues through. I was a sometimes beta reader when I was in fandom and I absolutely loved it, especially since I only worked with a few people at a time, giving me the chance to really focus in. I'm your shoulder to lean on.

I really love debates of any kind. I have my opinions and values, but I am open-minded and tolerant of others. I can't promise I won't get offended but I won't let it cloud my judgements (unless your views are completely medieval and backwards). I love history, civil rights/equality, anything literature/writing, movies/shows, deep philosophical debates about what is right and what is wrong or silly random talks about peanuts.

I have two kittens, Rupert and Roland. I may talk about them lots because all my friends live two hours away and with my boyfriend gone all day, they are the only living creatures I talk to. They are equally fascinated and terrified by water, sometimes think we are monsters and like to lick our faces.

Gender doesn't bother me, but I'm going to put a limitation on age, just to avoid parental issues and it makes me feel a little weird. No one UNDER 18 years of age should contact me. Don't feel too bad, though--I'm not that sweet.

I have strange mannerisms, I will send you cookies and sometimes I talk like I'm a gangster. I blame my boyfriend. If you're interested, please give me a PM! I'm around all day so I'll get back to you :) And forgive me for this rambling mess.

Hello! My name is Marie. I'm 18 years old and in my freshman year of college. I live in Pennsylvania, USA. I speak English and have had 5 years of French, so if you're a native French speaker, I'd love to receive mail from you in your native tongue. I'd also like to correspond with people in the US!

I intend to double major in English and Psychology. I love reading, writing, listening to music (anything that isn't opera or polka, really). My favorite book is Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carroll. I am a Therevadan Buddhist.

I'd be interested to talk about your personal history/stories, what you're writing for NaNo, literature, writing in general, spirituality, psychology, mostly SyFy channel TV shows (Warehouse 13, Alphas, Caprica) but also Firefly and I'm a HUGE Doctor Who fan. I'd just like to be penpals with someone who likes to talk about themself and be bluntly honest and connect with strangers.

Please NaNomail me if you're interested! I tried to keep this very short, so it's not an entirely accurate picture of me, haha. I should answer back within the day. :)

Hey guys!

I'm Anthony, 24 years old and currently working at a martial arts school for mostly free training and very little money. :-p Right now, I'm just concentrating on getting in better shape and joining the army down the road.

I guess my big interest is the martial arts. I've always been intrigued by how complex stuff like judo and brazilian jiu jitsu is. So there's that. I love writing (Imagine!), reading and I'm a politics nerd (more amrican than canadian). I love Comic books and music! All kinds of music, although I tend to gravitate towards the light and fluffy pop artists.

Religion interests me. I'm not a religious man myself, but the mythology behind a lot of the faiths just amazes me. It's pretty interesting stuff. I respect a person's right to have faith, so long as they respect my right to lack it.

I'd love to pick up a pen pal and get to know some people! I've literally never sent a letter in my life, and the possibility excites me! Shoot me a mail if you're down.

I haven't had a snail mail buddy in a while, but I love writing and reading letters! I'm Ree, short for Sherry and the spelling is thanks to my fundamentals of design teacher from first quarter. I go to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Game Art and Design, and I love it. I work at a grocery store, but it's HUUUGE and we sell some really cool stuff. My favorite is Biscoff cookie spread. I'm 18 years old (19 on December 7) and I apparently have an eye for color. I'm really excited about this thread and I hope to write many letters in the near future :D And I'm okay with sending anywhere, including internationally~

The best way to contact me write now is through NaNoMail, and if you wanna be penpals wecan exchange info c:

Hello! I'm interested in this pen-pal idea because I've never had one before (except maybe once when I was younger and it was through one of those "American Girl" magazines). Anyway, I'm 22 and going to grad school for communication studies in a US college town. My hobbies include reading (mostly Young Adult fiction) and writing (fanfiction included, but only Harry Potter), music (lately my interest has been in dance-y stuff or instrumental), playing guitar, drawing, knitting (just figured out how to make an infinity scarf), World of Warcraft (but it's been about a year since I've played), and other stuff that doesn't come to mind as readily.

As for my beliefs about the world, I'm a feminist and an LGBTQ ally, I have no particular religious affiliations, and some of my favorite thinkers/philosophers are Foucault (specifically about the panopticon and docile bodies) and Baudrillard. I am totally open to writing to someone with different beliefs, because isn't that what makes it interesting? I see having a pen-pal as a way to have deeper, more meaningful conversations with people in a way that you usually can't when you've just met someone.

I don't have many requirements for a pen-pal. I guess the only one would be like Circe Marda's--no one under 18.
PM me if you're interested in being my pen-pal!

My name is Amanda and I'm 17 years old. I live in Sweden and am currently studying on my second-to-last year of upper secondary school. After that I'll be off to some university in London. :)

I don't really know what to write about me. I love languages, writing, reading, gaming and music. I find religion to be very interesting but I'm not religious, though I do go to church at times to relax and get inspiration. If you're not a supporter of LGBT rights you probably shouldn't contact me (unless you're open-minded).

Actually, if you're LGBTQ+ I'd be extremely happy if you'd contact me. I don't know too many people like me sadly.

I'd prefer someone from Europe, but anywhere's fine. :)

Ahh I'd love to have a penpal! I feel so important when I get mail that isn't from my bank. Anyways, I should probably introduce myself.
Hello *waves* my name is Ari, and I'm 18 and I live in rainy, cold England. I'm at college, studying communications, hoping for the big transition to study Screenwriting at university.
In my free time, I enjoy reading (obviously) a great range of books from graphic novels (big comic geek here!) and horrors to the occasional romance (I loved chocolat). I watch a fair amount of films, my favourites being sci-fis, horrors and I do enjoy Fight Club. I collect Hello Kitty things and I do love cute Japanese things ^^.
I'd like letters from all over the world, I like talking to people worldwide!

Eh, Why not?

I've already sent a few of you guys mail.

I'm a nineteen year old female. I used to take child development classes, , then switched out my major to 'undecided' because my teacher thought i am anti-social. I'm not, I swear XD I just happen to have this little rule of thumb- I'll talk if you want me to, but I'm not going to force my conversations on people >>; I could start a rant right now, but I won't.

I don't really care about religion, it's cool whatever you are. I won't judge you because truth be told- I often question my own religion.

I also don't care about age. I spent most of my life preferring the company of adults to that of my grade school cohorts. As I entered High School I realized that I would often forget if my friends were of lower or higher years than me and I tend to treat them as equals to myself.

I LOVE to learn, and as such my interests spread far and wide. Paranormal? Yes. martial arts? Yes. Drawing? Yes. Comics? yes, and manga. My movie interests tend to hover around adventure, and my music tastes are all over the chart. I go from metal to country, and from opera to polka. Name it, (except for alternative music because I have no idea what that is) and I've got a song to match it. :)

I now have NO classes in college because I suck at keeping up with homework and have no money for it anymore.
And..I know I talk weird. I blame my flurry of reading that spanded from 2nd-12th grade XD

I've never had a penpal before.

My name's Alicia and I'm 20. I currently live in Missouri but I am originally from Tennessee (as in just moved here in September). I love reading and writing. I'm very fond of The Sims series and The Legend of Zelda series, even though I haven't played Zelda in ages. I do miss it greatly. I play other random games I can't remember at the moment. I am currently enrolled in college, all my classes are online though. Honestly, I never really go anywhere.

I'm open to all religion and enjoy learning about them. But, do not preach to me or tell me I'm wrong or going to hell. That will bring down a fury upon you like you will not believe. Also, please don't try to shove it down my throat trying to convert me. My beliefs are a big mixture of things. There are elements of Christianity and Paganism in it, and probaby several other religions.

All ages are fine with me. I just don't want angry parents after me. Otherwise, I'm good.

Another thing about me, LGBTQ+, that's me. I'm pansexual. I'm also polyamorous. I am in a relationship with two people. My girlfriend/wife of five, almost six, years and our boyfriend of only about two months.

I can't think of anything else. I'm not sre if I came across as mean or anything. I'm really not. Oh yeah, I promise I'll try to write back within a few days. And I'll use my best handwriting. Otherwise, you won't be able to read it. And please write neatly. I have problems reading handwriting. So, nothing tiny either please.

I really don't think I'm a terribly interest person, but I love meeting people and learnign about them.

Why not? I enjoy writing letters (and I just made some fabulous stationary for pen pals specifically)

I'm Jamie, I'm 18, turning 19 in December, and I'm in my last year of sixth form (Americans, that means I'm pretty much in my senior year of high school)

I enjoy writing (shocker!), reading, listening to music, and all manner of random things. I'm a big paintballer, and, when my broken hand heals up, I'll be starting kick boxing and Krav Maga. I like to keep active. I write all kinds of things, novels, poems (although not too often), and I'm in the process of working on several movie scripts, and a TV pilot, which is exciting! Mostly I write LGBTQ+ stuff, but I do write male/female occasionally.

Personally, I'm bisexual and gender fluid, so if you're not comfortable with that, then I wouldn't bother NaNo mailing me. I'm also as atheist as they come, but I love hearing about religion. I love hearing about pretty much anything, I am the original knowledge nerd. I'm so easy to keep entertained, as long as I'm learning things.

So yeah. That's me. Kind of boring, really. But I can talk with the best of them. Age wise, I'd prefer 16 and over, but if you're interested, just NaNo mail me, and I should respond fairly quickly.

Hello! I'm Sammie, I'm 21, and I live in a teeny little coastal town in Mississippi, USA. I write like my pants are on fire, and I am enthusiastic about just about EVERYTHING.

I, er, have quite a lot of fandoms. First and foremost is Harry Potter. Other than that, I love Doctor Who, Fringe, Firefly, and lots more. Not entirely certain if it qualifies as fandom, but I'm a nerdfighter, too? (French the llama!)

As for hobbies, writing obviously tops the list. I also enjoy reading, baking, traveling, listening to music, studying languages, watching tv shows that my friends force me to become obsessed with, and doing crafty DIY things here and there.

I am a Christian, but I respect that everyone has their own belief system (or not!), and I will NEVER try to push any of my beliefs on anyone who isn't interested in hearing it. Also, gender and age are no issue. If you're reading this and we have even a few things in common (or nothing at all! I love learning about new things!), chances are, I'd love to be your penpal. Send me a NaNoMail! :)

I'm Gemma/Kera, I'm 22 (23 on the 26th of this month!) and from the UK. I'm a bit of a Gleek, Harry Potter fan, and love writing.

My other hobbies include, but don't stop at; Singing, reading, walking, getting creative, Simming, listening to music.
I don't watch much on the TV, but if I do it is usually Glee. as for films, I am a Harry Potter fan, and a bit of a Disney geek.

I don't believe in religion, but I know there are people that do follow them. I am interested in Greek and Italian as a culture and a language.

Gender/age doesn't bother me, I always tend to keep letters PG unless I know that the person on the receiving end is of age and doesn't mind it. I don't swear (much) and I don't write just one page. but I do tend to waffle on a bit about nonsensical things. I love snail mail, and I'm open to anything or anyone.

I'd love to have a snail mail penpal or two. . . or three, etc. Anyway, about me:
My name is Caitlyn. I am a huge Doctor Who fanatic, alongside Supernatural, Glee, and various other shows that take up too much of my free time. I love to read and write. I sing quite often, and I take lessons to get better. I am a nerdfighter! I am addicted to tumblr beyond all reasonable means.
I have two puppies named Boots and Bailee. They are chihuahuas, and they will often send pictures of themselves in letters. I'm sorry about that, guys; I keep telling them to stop, but they keep right on doing it. /shrug
I love socks, particularly the kind that go up to your knees, with the individual toes. They're freaking amazing.
I would love to learn French!
I am not religious, but I am very, very, very tolerant. Please don't let that scare you off!
Erm, I am pansexual. No, I do not fornicate with kitchenware. I do have a picture of me and that saucy pan once though. Just kidding.
I have a very strange sense of humor, in case you haven't noticed by now.
Oh, and I am seventeen years old and female. I turn eighteen on February 19th! /excited

I finally got my own PO box (yay college!) so I've been wanting a pen pal!

My name is Emily! I'm 18 years old (19 at the end of the month!). I live in Denton, Texas, on campus at the University of North Texas where I'm getting a degree in English to one day become an editor at a publishing company.

My hobbies include writing, reading, and crafting! I love to crochet and make various kinds of art. If you do any kinds of crafts, I would love to hear from you! I would love to have a pen pal I can trade art with in addition to letters! My favorite books include the Harry Potter series and Good Omens. I like a wide range of things, from fantasy to young adult to "classics". I read all the time. I write a lot, too! Mostly things that would probably be classified as "young adult" or maybe romance.

I love movies. I try to go to the movies as often as I can. If I wanted to get into the film business, I would love to create movie trailers for a living! I like a wide range of movies, particularly superhero movies (mostly Marvel ones, though I love everything Green Lantern!), action movies in general (like the Fast and Furious series), and romantic comedies. My favorite movie is Star Trek (2009). I'm a Trekkie! I love all the series, but my favorite is The Original Series. I love William Shatner (in kind of an ironic way). I can can be a little fangirl-y sometimes, so I hope that doesn't bother you, if you decide to write to me!

I'm an LGBTQ ally and huge supporter of marriage equality in particular. I have a boyfriend of nearly three years, but I'm not going to spend whole letters writing about him, so don't worry about that!

I'm interested in learning about religions, but I don't have one. I guess I'm agnostic, though I don't even really like being labeled as that. I don't have any particular political opinions, and I prefer not to debate if I can help it. I don't mind if you have opinions different from my own, I'm just not interested in discussing them. It's just not fun for me!

I love to learn new things and hear about other people's daily lives and adventures! I especially would love to hear from people around the country and around the world! Life in other places and situations is so interesting!

I'd like to write to someone around my own age, but that's not set in stone. I would prefer if you were over the age of, say, 16, though. Just for personal comfort reasons. Gender doesn't particularly matter, though.

PM me if you want to be my pen pal, or if you have any questions I haven't answered yet!

I've been looking for writerly penpals -- I have been writing some creative people off of the Postcrossing forums but visual arts only make up half of the hobby-- I like to write, too, and I like it when people who like to write send letters to me. ;) I'd love to be penpals with anyone willing to share some of their WIPs or just talk writing (as well as life in general). :) I live in the US and if you want quick responses it's best that you also live in the US/Canada, but I am also totally willing to send internationally (it just takes me longer to get the letters out since I go through stamps like wildfire). I also think it'd be really fun to write to an American living in another country-- similar perspectives on different places have always interested me!

I am open to all walks of life-- ages, interests, new writers, experienced writers, whatever. Just want to say that up front. :)

I'm 27, if you want to find out a lot about me (don't have a lot of time to make a comprehensive post here, sadly) you can do so at my site http://so.wherewerewe.org -- in addition to writing/visual arts, I also design websites. I freelance and will be starting a 9-5er later this week as a php developer. I'm a reader (anything from dark romance to kid's fantasy to literary theory and world history!); I worked in bookstores for over five years before quitting retail and going into the web business. I miss bookselling sometimes, but I know this is the right path for me. Ideally, I'd like to create author websites for spare change, but for now everything is about gaining experience and getting financially stable. :)

Random: I'm not religious but interested in reading up on Buddhism, I have no pets, I live with my parents, my boyfriend is pretty cool, and I love my car (it's a Hyundai Accent Hatchback).

I write as it comes for my fiction, but I do this in letters too. No outlining, so it's all just a mess of ideas and hopefully it all comes together at some point... (I've been Nanoing 5 years and so far it comes together :P). I write very conversationally, so it won't be a point-by-point letter, and may not even have any paragraph breaks depending on my mood. I guess I don't always subscribe to traditional letter-writing; I like to make it as interesting as I can sometimes (but sometimes it's just a letter, too). I don't expect that in return, but it'd be cool if someone was open to receiving it. :)
