Being an ML has certain perks, including having early access to the forums before board wipe. :) I thought I'd do some ML duties so I can make this regional lounge more welcoming to you guys. I mean, it's going to be a long, crazy November, so it's better to be comfortable, right? :)
So Hello! I'm Tina, aka tinamats, one of your friendly Municipal Liaisons. I'm based in Manila and I work in one of the multinational companies based in Eastwood. :D I've been doing NaNoWriMo for...6 years (gasp!) now, and this is my 7th year. I've won 5 times, and even if my plot is crap I still plan to win. Hopefully this year will be nicer, yes?
Anyway, whether you're new or old, leave a note here to say hi! :) I probably won't remember everyone's names but I will try my best! =)
i joined nano last year and won! yay! i'lll be joining again this year and i'm hoping to win again. ^^ i'm looking forward to writing with you guys next month. ^^
Stories, now, they're important. People think it's people who shape stories. It's the other way around. They're alive. They evolve, see. And the strongest of 'em, they survive, they grow fat. They etch grooves deep enough for people to follow. There's been a thousand wolves who've eaten a thousand grandmothers, and a thousand princesses cursed by a thousand wicked stepmothers but were kissed by a thousand princes.
Stories don't care who takes part in them. All that matters is that the story gets told, that the story repeats.
Greetings. (With great respect for Terry Pratchett.)
Hello! I'm very excited to be back after skipping last year's challenge. It's great to see some new names as well as the "old timers". I've joined NaNo for many years, but only joined the group in 2008 and won twice. I'm glad to be sharing another year of anxiety with you guys. See you all in the activities. :D
Another year goes by and we have to say "Hi" once again. ;)
Hello, everybody. My name is Emjay. I have been around for about four years and won three times. As Eminem would put it, "I am back and I am razor sharp, baby. And that's 'Back!' with a capital B and an exclamation mark."
To the veterans of NaNo, it's good to see you back for another month of hand-exercising, plot-mapping, and coffee-drinking. We've been waiting for this since last year. The challenge, once again, is to top what we've done last year. Sometimes, we do and sometimes, we don't. No matter what the outcome, we've got each other's backs.
To the newbies, you have signed up for an exciting 30 days of your lives. We will be met with highs and lows and dead-even plateaus, but remember, this is not about who gets bragging rights once s/he hits the 50,000 mark. We're like the Marines: Leave no man behind. Don't hesitate to ask for help from anyone of us when necessary.
Greetings! :D My name's Anne and I've been a participant of NaNoWriMo since 2004 where I managed to scrape a win during the past four years. I'm glad to be back even if right now, I'm not entirely too sure I'll be able to join in this year. I guess it'll be one of those last minute decisions I'm going to make.
Anyway, good luck to the new and old members alike. It's going to be a long, wild ride! xD
i'm sele and i've been writing for nanowrimo for the past 5? 6? years. my original account was lost somewhere down the road so i can't keep track anymore. it's so nice to see old and new members and i'm so excited preparing for the highs and lows of november. hopefully, HOPEFULLY, i don't fail this year considering i'm working now /cries
but good luck, everyone! and have fun, never forget that.
I'm Kuyerjudd. Kuyer for short. Or Judd. I've been doing NaNoWriMo for 2 years now; this is my third. Last year, I had 32 cups of coffee (I mention this because I don't drink coffee routinely), 8 of which I drank in a day. I never made it to my goal of 100K, but I'm trying again this year -- no boyfriend, no problem. :P
I'm Liana, AKA Purplyana, your other friendly regional ML! I've joined and won NaNo four times, and hopefully this year will spell my fifth. Sadly, all my wins were on word count technicalities, so I'm hoping this year will change that. I'm based in Manila, but in my heart, Cebu will always be my home. So there! Haha. I dream of the day when we can have Asia::Philippines:Cebu vs Asia::Philippines:Manila word wars!
I am Maia, AKA Keiko Ri ( Though I do want to change it)... I've been doing NaNoWriMo since 2001 and won.. since 2004? I think. Most of my novels are in the Chicklit/ Fantasy/ Fanfiction area. I am based in Cavite, but work in Manila. I should join the events this time around.. heehee...
Oh crap. The new forum looks SPIFFY and there's a ready-to-post reply box below!! I loooove it~.
Hi, everyone! Kage here.o7 Pinoywrimo since...uh....2007, won that and 2008, lost 2009, skipped 2010 (first year at work) and now back again (hoping to win despite work)~. I'm soooooo exciteeeed~~~.=D
@tinamats: OH GOD, Tina. The forums look amazing. Kudos to the NaNo crew!
@Vorshan_Saintrowe: Still so serious I see~! *giggles*
@selecetial: SELEEEE. I'm baaaack~~~. Do you know if Renz and Ari joining this year too?
Insane moons. You make me want to change my plot, lol. May I steal that for my tentative title pls?
*glomps* I do miss you and all your seriousness and nose-bleeding English though. Are you going to the kick-off this year? Are you even in the country right now?
*points down* Ari is joining, and thinks Renz might be too. I miss you guys sooo much! Are you still in school, btw? You haven't gone crazy with too much studying, have you?xD;
Hello guys! I still remember most of you from last time (and trust me, I can also remember your hand writings). I'm looking forward to write and fight (in word wars) with you all again. :D
Halloa, everyone. Ardrsil here, though you can call me Ari (so that, you know, it's actually pronounceable) Been at this since 2007, though last year's efforts were somewhat cut off halfway. Not quite sure what I'll manage this year, but I suppose I'll try my hand at it again. After four unsuccessful attempts, how bad could a fifth be? P:

Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Serious? Maybe.
Insane? Definitely.
It's strange how even a new set of glasses really doesn't make much difference.
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
*wags finger* If you're really insane, you're a deviant among the insane! You're too quiet.=P
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
So are books.
Or fountains, for that matter.
Silence can be a matter of perspective. After all, when does a moon speak?
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Insane moons. You make me want to change my plot, lol. May I steal that for my tentative title pls?
*glomps* I do miss you and all your seriousness and nose-bleeding English though. Are you going to the kick-off this year? Are you even in the country right now?
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Go ahead, 's not like I've got a copyright to the thing. Of course, it's a touch circular - not for nothing does the term 'lunacy' have currency.
And yes, I will be present, and yes, I still remain in the country. Boredom, much like Luna herself, can be a harsh mistress.
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Yep, nosebleeding English.
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
dude i have like
no idea
/completely lost
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
*points down* Ari is joining, and thinks Renz might be too. I miss you guys sooo much! Are you still in school, btw? You haven't gone crazy with too much studying, have you?xD;
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
nope. currently working.
which may or may not be the reason as to why i won't be able to go to the kick off party thing.
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
You do sound like someone stressed from work.O_o Hey, hey, lighten up a little. *hugs and massages*
And aww. Well, I'm not sure if I'm going either anyway, with the late sched and all. Maybe I'll see you at future write-ins or, worst case, at TGIO.
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Konnichiwa.
After a year-long hiatus, we're back in business - and this time, for damn real.
Name's Sherico. You can call me She. I will be writing about hope, love, and the choices people would have opted not to have one.
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Yey! It's Nanotime once again! Hope to write and make friends ;D
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Hi.:D Just dropping by to say I'm participating this year again.:D

Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Oh, is Renz writing in Tagalog again? :D
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
Gayon nga, Bb. Matanguihan, isang Tagalog na kathambuhay na naman ang susubkin kong isulat sa susunod na buwan.
At aba sa'yo, Kage :))
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
About time you got here! So zetta slow, Renz.
And what the radian? Your coordinates better be opposite from mine at the kick-off or we'll get soh-cah-toa.
Re: Hello Pinoywrimos!
