Day 8 - How do you rate?

Just a curiosity thing... how are you doing, in your own opinion? I don't mean if you're meeting or exceeding the daily quota. I mean, just for yourself, your own expectations, your own standards, your own goals... how do you rate?

Myself, I'm almost 2000 words ahead of my own goal, which I like. But I've never written this much on one story before. I'm really pleased with my progress. I don't know if the story is compelling for anyone else, but I'm stll liking it. I'm still excited to see what's going to happen.

I'm pleased with this year so far, although I've set standards that are getting a little taxing to maintain, although I'm too much of a crazy person to let go of them. I still like my story, but we're only barely into week two which is usually when that falls apart.

Congrats on being ahead of your goal, and exceeding what you've done in the past. That's awesome. Whether other people will find it compelling or not... that's a December problem.

I will be finishing December 24th....what a great Christmas present to me :)

But I'm starting to like my ideas again. I wrote my favourite cheesy paragraph last night. It is so much better than "night is the allies of secrets"

Yay for liking your ideas again! I've always liked your ideas :P I think your story sounds really neat!

Well, I think I decided the first day of November to do this. So I'm a little lax in my expectations of myself, except I do expect to finish, although I can tell it is going to get hard.

Like you I have written the most ever on one story in the past few days!

I'm pleased but surprised. It is very different from what I thought I was going to write.

I'm loving my book. I'm having alot of fun writing, but at the same time my attention is grabbed by Youtube and the banes of Videogames even when i try resisting the urge :x

I'm nearing the halfway point of the contest, but i'm glad i made it this far now. I wonder if anyone that writes books in this contest ever gets them published on Cape Breton? <3
