What about the info sessions on Wednesday (this one and the next) (12-1) in the Kingstec Library meeting room being run by Justine?

Any chance we'll get the google calendar updated? Is that something I can help you with?

Also: Every Tuesday from 11 am - 2 pm at the Kingstec Library Meeting room. (plus the two info sessions)

Lana-the-librarian (and perhaps fellow Nano-er if she can figure out an idea!) has scored us a writer!

The November 15th Write in at Kingstec will feature Michele Helliwell & KarenBlackthorn. They will speak to their writing process; self pub v print pub; “give aways”

She’s very keen to come & talk will answer questions or just sit quietly AND will bring along another writer AND will scope out the Atlantic chapter of Romance Writers [I didn't even know there was such a thing!] for freebies AND….

I'll send an email out to the wolfville peeps when I have more info (and time!)

Tonight, Monday October 24th from 6:00-7:30pm at the Wolfville TAN coffee shop we'll be having our Kick-Off/Meet-up event. Hope to see you there!

Getting ready to head to Kingstec for the first of many write-ins! In the Kentville area and have a few hours to kill? Drop by the Kingstec Library Meeting Room between 11 & 2 today :) (and every Tuesday!) Can't make it? I'll try and run a word war an hour in our regional sparring thread :P

I think I show up between 12 and 1....could you make the word wars every hour on the half hour?

Awesome write in... there were words, and points, and an idea on how to end my story less unabasedly awful than my original idea. Abashedly awful. It'll be good.

Hi guys! Actually, AuroraLee, it's Taryn Blackthorne and I'm really excited to be going to Kingstec on the 15th with Michelle. Michelle is a great writer, and we're trying to get a really good presetation set up for all the comers. I'm on the site as Blenky if you want to add me as a writing buddy, I'd love it! If any of you are going to be in New Minas tomorrow, November 4th, I'm going to be at Saraj bakery from around 1pm til 5pm...Nano-ing away! If you want to drop off some questions for us to cover, feel free! Think I'll try to hit some of those write-ins at the Kingstec library on Tuesdays (it's open to everyone, right?)...but I can't make any promises just yet.

Speaking of AmaiRose... (sorry, I'm tired, and my brain has gone to that place)... I'm likely to show up at a write in because a)it's November and b) I really like Saraj baked goods. If you are planning to go and worrying about how to get there, Aurora, I could give you a lift.

If it makes you feel any better, as of now, so far today I have written a grand total of 0 words. *sigh*

Hey guys!
The write in was really productive for me, thanks to AmaiRose and Bird's Melody for coming. We'll be meeting again Wednesday, November 9th from 1-5 at Saraj Bakery if anyone else wants to join us. I promise to bring the pink sands hourglass for the word wars!

I'll also try for the write in on Monday so I can get my sticker for my computer, if you have any left, little1liz. ;)

If you know New Minas, it's the old Pizza Delight building across from the Ultramar.

If you don't know New Minas, get on the kings transit and get off at the Burger King stop.
