Progress Thus Far?

So... coming up on 5AM, now. Since I work until midnight anyways, getting started tonight was pretty much a given; and now that I'm basically finished and heading off to sleep, I note that I've got 2560 words down already. How's everyone else doing so far?

I only did 500 words or so at midnight, but I've since added another 1500 or so... I can pretty reliably do 500 words in 15 minutes, so my daily goal tends to be 2000. I might push for more today, though. First day of NaNo is always a big deal. =D

I'm up to 3,272 words, but I'm going for 100 000 so I'm still short of my daily goal.

500 words in 15 minutes -- that is seriously impressive!

1,693 words today. I'm going slow the first few days while I finish writing more on the whole world, culture and races of this strange new world I've found myself dabbling in.^^

2224 so far today and will go for another hour tonight. I generally do about 1k per hour if I don't let myself become distracted. I've broken my schedule into days where I'll do 3k and others where I'll shoot for 1k, based on what else is going on that day. Today is a 3k day. Off to a promising start. :)

Only 1500 thus far but I aiming for 17,000, twice. I'm doing two short stories this year instead of one arc.

I haven't started yet.... Urrgh. Too much homework. Hopefully I'll be able to get my 1.67K in before the night's over.

I'm at 1,985 at the moment, going to try to write some more before I head to bed. I'm only doing 50k, but I've set my daily goal at 2,500 a day to keep up with my typing/writing speed. Still anything over the 1,667 min goal is good! :D

Haven't started yet. Still not 100% sure I'm going to try again... my work schedule is so busy I really don't know if I'll be able to juggle writing on top of it, but I really want to because I haven't written in ages.

5,145 words right now. I wanted to get 5000 words today so I've been working on it basically all day (on and off). I started this morning at 6AM and I just typed the final word for the day as the City Council meeting was beginning.

The basic premise and progress of the story will stay the same but before the end of the month it may end up moving from a setting of 1860s Montana to 1860s Nebraska based on the flow of the story. It was originally going to be set in Oklahoma, but since the story deals with the Homestead Act in the United State in Oklahoma it would have had to have been set in 1889 or later... and I wanted the story to predate the popularity of the telegraph in rural America.

I have never written fiction in the epistolary format before, but I have to say that it's quite interesting.

I'm at 1,987 words! Yay! Much better than I thought I'd be doing. My inner grammatical corrector is still active in there somewhere. He's slowin' my progress slightly.

Got some more writing in during work; up to 3593 now, with two minute until midnight. Not a bad first day!

Didn't they have progress bars on our names last year? That was handy. Although this year, I'm glad my embarassment isn't quite so public. My goal is 500 words per day, a lot more realistic considering how busy this month is, and I'll be so happy if I go over it!

Bah, I got to 3442 words just after 12 am, so they technically count for Nov 3rd, not 2nd. Gotta get some sleep then work again for another 1667!

Still at 0. I took today off from work (sick) and instead of writing slept in until 1pm. This used to be so much easier in college.

Up to 11540. Been falling behind... finding it much more difficult to write while working then I'd originally assumed.
