So, I'm newer to Kingston and have always wanted to find somewhere that had an actual Writer's Group. I don't know the ins and outs of them, just that I have a couple of penpals that go to one every couple weeks or something. I was wondering if anyone here knew of something like this going on in Kingston, or would want to discuss the possibility of creating one?
I haven't heard of any writing groups specifically, although there may be some run by either St. Lawrence College (although I've been a student here for three years and haven't heard any rumours) or Queen's University. Why not start one? :)
There used to be a creative writing group at Queen's called Mindfire (I was vice president!) but it disbanded last year because of lack of interest, sadly. We were down to about 4 people by the end...
After NaNo
