Engineer here. St.George Campus. There used to be weekly get togethers back a few years ago, would be interesting to see if we could get that going again
I'm a perpetual student. (No seriously, it's my fifth year at U of T.) I don't have very many classes this year, though, so I'm only on campus three days a week this term.
I am kind of at st. george campus woodsworth college, but very part time. How part time? I have been there since '96 lol. If you are there check out the used books at robart's on tuesdays and thursdays. Good stuff there. I have very old maps and other old books from there. And yes I know where every single tim horton's, second cup, starbucks is.
First year at Vic, in English, Philosophy, and Film Studies Done NaNoWriMo multiple times before, but never really connected with the community, so here I am. :D
UoftT Alum '09: Specialist in Psychology and major in human biology at St. George Campus, New College
Even though I've already got one degree under my belt, I can't seem to get enough of this place - I was working there for a while and now I'm doing a writing certificate program, and thinking about a Masters.
Could use some inspiration and motivation to get through this month - so anyone wants to have some writing sessions (or procrastination sessions) on or around campus, I'm in. Just learned about NaNoWriMo; excited and scared to try it. :)
Great to see another alum member here (and from the class of '09 too! I was at SMC though); I know what you mean, despite having gone to another institution for grad school, I still find myself on campus quite a bit and stuff. Might do some courses at the SCS in the winter, but we'll see.

I'm in my 4th year as an English major and crazy enough to try NaNo during school again! (It has yet to work out for me)
A weekly writing get together would be a lot of fun if people have some time.
