Now that it's November, “Odd Fridays At Runnymede” (OFAR) are no longer restricted to only odd Fridays! (I can't remember who to credit, but somebody coined "ALL Fridays at Runnymede" or "AFAR".) We’re gathering every week at the Runnymede Starbucks to do some serious writing. Come out and join us for word wars and support while working on your novel.
Host: Ren (and sometimes Ainslie, Alley, Drew and others) Where: Runnymede Starbucks, 2210 Bloor Street West, upstairs. Map When: Friday, November 4, 11, 18, 25 @ 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm By TTC: Runnymede Station on the Bloor line Accessible? Unfortunately, no. Big flight of stairs. Lost on the way? Call Ren at 647-478-9462 ext. 3
For today's writing session (November 4th), I will not be attending due to commitments I made before volunteering to host Runnymede Fridays during NaNo. Normally, I would still invite calls because I could easily direct you to the Starbucks, but I have a job interview this evening as well, so please don't call me! Call Drew, ext. 2. and he should be able to help you.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the rest of the Runnymede sessions!
My plan was to make it every Friday, but it's looking like this first one will be a wash for me. My mother-in-law made plans with my daughter, and I have no one else to be here when she gets home after. But definitely the rest for me and hopefully my daughter!
Yay, I spoke too soon! After talking to my mother-in-law, it looks like she'll be keeping the kidlet overnight, allowing me to come out to the writing session after all, only without my daughter.
My problem is not that my novel is lacking, it's that I find myself working on Nano when I've set out time to write the essay that's due mid-November. So much writing!!
I won't be able to make the first one, but I may be able to make some of the others. Friday afternoons I'm usually at my dad's place doing some editing work on his book manuscript (no, not a novel), and that's not far from Runnymede & Bloor, so it's a good location for me on those days.

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it.
Re: WEEKLY Runnymede Writing Session - Fridays @ 6:30pm
I'll be there, but not until somewhere between 8:45-9. I close up shop on Fridays, just a few doors down.

Can't wait!!! :-)
Re: WEEKLY Runnymede Writing Session - Fridays @ 6:30pm
I might be there, it depends on how daunting stairs are tomorrow. I'd like to come, and Runnymede's not -that- far from me.
But if I can't climb stairs, then that's out. :(
Re: WEEKLY Runnymede Writing Session - Fridays @ 6:30pm
I'll be there!

Finally, an event not far from my door! :) See you tomorrow...
Re: WEEKLY Runnymede Writing Session - Fridays @ 6:30pm
I'll be there. My first Nano and my first meet-up. Be gentle with me!

Re: WEEKLY Runnymede Writing Session - Fridays @ 6:30pm
So who is going to be there tomorrow? I am!!! And I'm, hopefully, dragging along my friend who I introduced to NaNo this year!!
Re: WEEKLY Runnymede Writing Session - Fridays @ 6:30pm
I think I should actually be able to make tomorrow's session - I'm not 100% sure, but it's more likely than not.
Re: WEEKLY Runnymede Writing Session - Fridays @ 6:30pm
My goal is to be there for tomorrow's session!
Re: WEEKLY Runnymede Writing Session - Fridays @ 6:30pm
