I'm still behind the target wordcount, but at least I've passed this magical milestone where I have far, far less to write than I have already written. (er...my dirty secret is that I have an extra 2000 words held in reserve from when I foolishly tried to write a different novel back on day 7 or 8....I plan to use it as a dream sequence if put under extreme duress. But why an elightenment-era medical student facing a zombie apocalypse in a fictional city on a fictional/fantasy planet would dream about a drunken walk home in modern-day toronto during a rainstorm at 3am escapes me. For now.) Still, 30k is awesome, and I look forward to one day reaching the 35k, the 40k, and (if the fates are kind) the 50k milestone in the next 7 or 8 days.
