YEAR-ROUND MEETUPS: Odd Fridays at Runnymede ("OFAR")

You might (or might not) already know that we've had ongoing writing sessions after NaNoWriMo ended for the past two years. We're going to continue that tradition again into 2012!

Details will be posted regularly from the @ToNaNo Twitter account, though we'll mostly be following the same pattern as last year:

Who: ToNaNo folk - Everyone's welcome, whether or not you made it out to events over the course of November! We'd love to meet you.
Why: To write, socialize, and keep in touch!
When: Odd-numbered Fridays (e.g. December 9 and 23, 2011) but not even-numbered ones, and usually not on holidays. Evenings, usually between 6 and 9 pm. Again, keep an eye on Twitter for the details each week, but these meetups are pretty informal!
Where: Runnymede Starbucks, 2210 Bloor Street West, upstairs - Map
By TTC: Runnymede station, on the Bloor line

I'm also hearing that there will be meetups at King and Young too? Or am I hearing things?

There will be Serena! =) There was last year, there will be again this year - but its not advertised the same as it is more of a writing session and not a chatty social event. =)

Sounds great! Didn't finish but made it to 30, 000 and will be continuing my endeavour. Thanks for keeping the it going.

I am absolutely going to take advantage of this semi-regular event. [: It's an adventure to make it out there, for me, but I think it's worth the drive if I'll get a chance to see all you beautiful people and get some writing done. :D

Count me in for something in Scarborough as well, Cvasilevski, Kelseyv. I'm also up for going back to the Starbucks on Yonge and King, Serena.

Okay, I'll be at Runnymede Starbucks around six, with my netbook, my hot pink pen, and a printed copy of my 2009 nano to finish reading through. It'll be great to see you Toronto wrimos again, glad you had such a great November!
