What the hell is Faith up to?

My main character does a flat swap for a month with a woman she doesn't know (met via the internet only). My MC is in New York and the woman living in her flat is up to NO GOOD. Haven't quite got a handle on what she is up to yet. She is certainly going out of the flat wearing my MC's clothes, and rummaging around in all her stuff (she is a NOSEY character) but I need something more sinister that she has gone to London specifically to do.

Haven't decided on a career for her (she was originally a documentary film-maker but I've had to scratch that) - searching for ideas on what she might have gone to London to do that would be a big worry for my MC when she finds out what it is.

Pretending to be a journalist but she's really stalking Madonna, royals, Sting, another celeb - and she's trying to look like the MC to set her up as the perp. OK it's over the top, but it's pushing Week 3...

Hiding out after robbing a bank? Planning to bomb the train station? Using flat for hiding kidnapped baby (or politician's wife or dog...doesn't sound like the kind of person who would deal with a baby.) I do like the idea of trying to look like MC to set her up. Bad girls are so fun.

Luring guys back to the apartment for a series of steamy no-strings-attached one-night stands as part of some elaborate con game involving internet hacking, identity theft, etc...
