I admit to a terrible desire to send my fabulous donors pictures of myself in 40's garb sipping something classy like a Noveltini, but alcohol is presently out for me. Is there a chance of getting virgin options of the fabulous special drinks during cocktail hour, or am I out of luck this year? If I have to make do with ginger ale, can I get it in a sweet glass? Just wondering. :)
Not sure how classy you'll consider this, but they were serving some pretty awesome shirley temples topped with cherries last year that would show up with some great color in a picture.
I know there's a full bar, so they could probably bring you anything you wanted. Last year I got reeeeallly sick on the day of, and though I asked for a noveltini, I ended up drinking tonic water with lime, which actually looks pretty classy. I'm sure they could make you anything: a virgin tequila sunrise, which is orange juice and grenadine (sometimes with soda like sprite or tonic etc) looks really pretty and tastes suuuuper yummy. You could also get cranberry juice, or just "virgin" drinks of a lot of regular alcoholic drinks, like margaritas or daiquiris. Just make sure you say "virgin" :)
I think if i end up going, I'll definitely jump on the "virgin" drink train. I just don't fancy the idea of writing while tipsy, which will inevitably happen for me...
I agree with ali_oop - ask for a virgin drink in a fancy glass. They'll be able to get whatever you want (although I never drank anything but the Noveltini and Cosmonovelton all night last year).
Classy Drinks in Virgin Form?

Re: Classy Drinks in Virgin Form?
I was wondering the same thing actually. Mainly because I want to drink from fancy glasses and not have to wait until two years from now.
Re: Classy Drinks in Virgin Form?
Good question. I'm now curious because I don't drink.

Re: Classy Drinks in Virgin Form?
Excellent, thank you all! The fancy glass will make up for not getting to order a straight up Cosmonovelton. I'm so excited for next week!
