So, I know that you need to reach 50k during NOWD to ring the bell, but does it matter what you start out with in the beginning of the night? I was planning on starting off the night at 49,900 and writing about one hundred words during the event. But i just wanted to make sure that this would be okay.
Most people I know who are planning on hitting it are trying to not have a huge amount left. We were talking on the train and a few thousand words or less I think was what most people wanted to have left for the night.
I'm in the Sir Francis Drake Starbucks writing (procrastinating) with almost 46,000 done. I'm trying to get within 2500 or less if I can, because I'd like to not feel TOO stressed at the event, LOL!
Question about the bell ringing?

Re: Question about the bell ringing?
Nobody's ever asked me what word count I had coming in - it's really not an issue. Good luck, and congrats on 49k!
Re: Question about the bell ringing?
Thanks. :)
