This is Mark from Calgary. I had an absolute blast at the Night of Writing Dangerously, and I just wanted to send a shout-out to all the people I met over the last two days (not enough of you, but there's always next year!) Feel free to add me as a buddy, or you can find me @markhorejsi on twitter. Cheers!

Woo! Jealous that I couldn't go, but I was rooting for all of you Dangerously Writing Novelists! I hope your word counts jumped up (as did your friend counts!)
Lots of fun! We got ridiculous up in that business, sitting at our table in the back and being writing-adjacent, but I still made it to the bell. Our two Texan friends at the HPFF table, hope to find you on here so we can connect again!
Last night was FANTASTIC, you guys. Thank you all SO much for fundraising, and coming out to make the night a roaring, candy-fueled, exuberant success. You are all incredible, in so many ways. I'm still coming down from it all.
Anyone I met who wants to keep in touch (or anyone I didn't meet, too) please hit me up with a NaNoMail, or @paigeknorr on Twitter!
Counting down until next year's event! (T-minus 365 days.)
Wow, last night was so much fun, It even inspired my guest to try NaNoWriMo next year (which was what i was trying to do in bringing her). My word count didn't spike last night but it sure inspired me today with everything that I am writing. I just hope that I can come next year!
Oh my gosh, I had SO MUCH FUN. Everyone I sat with during the Meet and Greet, during the NOWD, anyone who talked to me at all were amazing people! Not to mention the food, the sprints, the talks, and the prizes. I have to say that I'm absolutely addicted now and I think I'm already planning for next year! XD
Everyone I met was so cool! And where else could a group of non-minglers come together so easily and get talking? (The Lone Penmen for the win.) Everyone seemed so genuinely interested in each other's writing and lives. I just wish I could remember how to spell all the screen names. If we met, or even if we didn't get a chance, feel free to add me! I was the one in the brown argyle sweater.
I don't even know where to start. This weekend has been nothing short of amazing. I met so many great people, a few of whom I found myself sitting with at get-togethers the whole weekend, met the wonderful people who put this NaNo thing together, had the best table at NOWD itself (did I mention five people at my table rang the bell?), and oh, managed to write some too. I was crying on the flight back here because the weekend was so great and now I have to go back to normal life in a place that isn't surrounded by San Francisco and magic and to a place where writing safely is more the norm. Atlanta better watch out; they may not get me back next year.
So thank you to the staff and interns for putting this amazing event together. Every element of the evening was amazing, and the ML tea and out of towner get-togethers were also great. I told myself last year this would be one of my big fun scary adventures this year, and the weekend was definitely worthy of being on that list.
A big special thank you to all the OLL staff and interns for putting together such a great event. It was a class act from beginning to end! And au revoir and bestest of best wishes to Chris Baty in his new adventures. See you on the best seller list, Chris!
It was AWESOME!!! Next year I WILL ring the bell. Thanks to everyone at OLL for putting it together and to all the amazing wrimos I met! The author photograph was one of my favorite parts.
It was a lot of fun! Next time I need to have more time before and after so I'm not a zombie during the events. Thanks to all that put this together! I'm definitely coming back next year.
Oh, and, having awesome personal chats with Chris B -and- Lindsey Grant Sat and Sun? Made my life so much better!
Agreed, I need to do more pre-writing planning, so I an attempt to get 50K on the night or just have fun. I wish I had more time to mingle with everyone there. :\
I think I need to start fundraising and planning for next year! :)
I always enjoy November, but it's extra special when I can make the trip to San Francisco and enjoy getting to meet all my fellow Wrimos and the OLL staff.
I hope to see everyone I met this year and had fun chatting and comparing stories with in years to come! The Night of Writing Dangerously is fun, but it's more fun with friends.
I also had a most excellent time at the most wonderful of times that is NoWD. Everything from the Meet and Greet to the Night itself was wonderful and left me having met far more wonderful people than names I could remember. Ringing that bell was one of the coolest things I've ever done, and OMG, the candy. So much candy... It was truly a dream come true to attend, and I'll definitely be back!
Hope to see some of you on twitter. I'm @NAzurewater!

It was so much fun. I was amazed by how much writing I actually got done. The food, drinks and evening wear / noir get-ups were spectacular.

Yeah, I had a great time, especially meeting so many other wrimos and staff. Oh, and ringing that bell. That was great fun too.
