Try to write more if you can so you build up a reserve in case some obligations pop up (like Kurban bayram!) Keep in mind that you are writng the roughest of rough drafts and that you are writing a novel, but no one said it had to be a GOOD novel :) Anyway you won't know until you get it all out on the screen, so go for it! But for a reason I think is acceptable: a publishing house has said it wants to publish my series of books, here in Istanbul. So I am working with the editor and tightening up bits and pieces. Such good news!! Its been tough keeping up with word count. i've lagged 2 to 3 days behind most of the time and this week i had to travel for work, so I was 6 days behind. Brutal! But I'm back. I just logged 45,000. my fingers are numbed, but I'm on the home stretch now. I'm working tomorrow, but am praying that I can still do my daily word count tomorrow night. In the end, I didn't have time to keep up to date with teh daily news and encouragement, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips on which forums they found most useful.
